David A Vogel - Fr. David Hemann Drum Solo

I went to high school with Father Dave and it's great to he is still sharing his gift of music.

I dont get it, is the church behind rock and roll now! dont get me wrong the Father Played a great solo and im right behind him, but how can he be behind an organisation that banned a guy like John Bonham who must have been inpirational for Fr. Hemann ??

This is a very good question. I have to admit, growing up playing in a rock band complete with long hair (Much better than the bad-hair day I was having the night of the above solo!),I loved the song "rock and roll" and had great fun playing it! Carl Palmer was really my biggest influence. The church doesn't really ban music, as music in all it's forms is a gift from God. They ban the abuse of music if the song carries an anti-God message guarding the commandment about misuse of God's Holy Name.

That was fantastic. Revelations tells us that in Heaven they are always praising God. You are in practice for those days ahead to praise Him and make a joyful noise to the Lord. Let us never cease to praise Him with music, dancing and song for He is so worthy of our praise forever. Keep up the good work to the Glory of God.
