Jackson is the future, if the offensive line can keep him healthy a lot of people are goin to eat their words. His numbers aren't good this year but he's put the sea hawks in position to win every game this year besides Pittsburgh game. Seattle is a young team that is only going to get better

Notice how every throw is either thrown to the wrong shoulder or behind the reciever, i mean look at 1:12 he made that such a difficult catch not only is the reciever coming back for it but he has to jump up and still get his feet in bounds with all the wrong momentum, this is a pretty sad highlights video and as a seahawks fan, im dissapointed for what is to come.
@seachyatt Yea, Tarvaris isn't Peyton or Brady, that's for sure, but he can still do some damage. I think he might surprise a few people for Seattle, however he could just as easily be terrible and be benched by Week 5. I think Seattle needs to get him on the move more often, a lot of bootlegs, play action roll outs, things of that nature, seems like he's comfortable throwing on the run. It's a good pet project for Caroll and Seattle, who knows what will come out of it.

His first 2 seasons he was just developing, and the 2008 season he looked great. But then the idiots running the vikings fuck him over and get Favre and just pretty much give up on him. It's pretty easy to get excited about a player after seeing a highlight video having no prior knowledge of him. Even the worst players have decent plays, that's why it's called a "highlight" video.

LOL when Pete Carrol rejuvenates T jacks career like mike Williams, viking fans and the Viks are going to be pissed their organization pushed away a high quality QB. Pete is brilliant, TJ has the ability to comeback like Mike Vick, Watch and learn. TJ looked to be getting better until he was downgraded by the signing of Bret. But, only time will tell. This highlight video sucks compared to what he's put on tape. If he and Rice can stay healthy it's a legit combo, obviously Rice felt the same way when he decided to leave Minnesota for Seattle.
Tarvaris never even played with Percy Harvin and very limited time with Sideny due to injuries.

Jackson is a scrambling quarterback. Something the Seahawks need because i am a fan but Whitehurst was not able to show anything because of our line. We don't quite have it down yet. We need someone who can make plays outside the pocket and Jackson can do that. Him and Golden Tate and Mike Williams. Should be like Jackson and Sydney Rice.

it does look like T. Jackson is better at escaping the pocket, but when you look at Charlie Whitehurst, he is a much more polished passer; better form, better accuracy. I see a lot of throws in Jackson's highlights where Rice makes Jackson look a lot better than he really is. Should be a good fight, but I think Whitehurst ends up winning the starting job
Very unfair tenure? Not sure about the R.H. Michael Vick comment. I always though of Vick as a left handed Donovan McNabb. Hmm...Folks in Minnesota have a short memory it seems. I think Jackson could give the Vikes a boost. In 2008, he started pretty badly, but he played well down the stretch. No, he didn't win his first playoff game, so be it. Hell, he showed me that there was an UPSIDE. I actually didn't think it was a good idea to bring in Favre in '09 beause it would halt TJack's momentum. However, I'm sure he's learned a little bit from Favre. All his OTHER backups have (Brunell, Brooks. Hasselbeck, Rodgers).
Tarvaris should have been starting since the beginning. In all 4 of the Vikings losses, he has been the main reason why they lost. He's just turn into a turnover machine with elbow tendonitis and now fractures in his ankle. Jackson could have led them to at least 3-3 so far. It's insane they still won't put Jackson in right now.

Jackson needs to get the start. I know he learned something being around Brett Favre. This is a time to look @ next when Brett retires. Jackson ran this offense and got the Vikings into the playoffs. Good Quarterback, Inconsistent at times but he reminds me of Michael Vick, But with a better throwing arm and accuracy. Tarvaris didn't have great receivers. I mean, Berrian was good, But not great. Rice was injured until Favre came. He had Adrian Peterson to run which Coach Childress did all the time. Tarvaris has never gotten a chance to prove himself in the National Football League.
Favre has at 1-3. Where are the people saying bench him? T-jack had us at 0-2 and got benched in 2008. Then when Gus went down T-jack went 4-0 to win the division. You have no faith in him, but i do. He will play against the Cowboys Sunday, and he's going to light it up.

i think the addition of toby gerhart was the best thing to happen to tarvaris and the vikings. they can now get back to running the ball and using boot with tarvaris, which would take away his weakness which is reading the field, and giving him an option to run it himself.

it does look like T. Jackson is better at escaping the pocket, but when you look at Charlie Whitehurst, he is a much more polished passer; better form, better accuracy. I see a lot of throws in Jackson's highlights where Rice makes Jackson look a lot better than he really is. Should be a good fight, but I think Whitehurst ends up winning the starting job

Not sure about the R.H. Michael Vick comment. I always though of Vick as a left handed Donovan McNabb. I groaned aloud at work yesterday when the news broke Matt was leaving (Thanks for the memories and the Super Bowl trip, Matt!) and that T-Jack was the chosen successor to compete with Whitecastle...er...Whitehurst. Hmm...Folks in Minnesota have a short memory it seems. I think Jackson could give the Vikes a boost. In 2008, he started pretty badly, but he played well down the stretch. No, he didn't win his first playoff game, so be it. Hell, he showed me that there was an UPSIDE. I actually didn't think it was a good idea to bring in Favre in '09 beause it would halt TJack's momentum. However, I'm sure he's learned a little bit from Favre. All his OTHER backups have (Brunell, Brooks. Hasselbeck, Rodgers).

Tarvaris should have been starting since the beginning. In all 4 of the Vikings losses, he has been the main reason why they lost. Most of the plays in this video were ordinary passes & runs that can be seen on an average Sunday game...absolutely nothing special and I don't think that Jackson is capable of anything special. Good Quarterback, Inconsistent at times but he reminds me of Michael Vick, But with a better throwing arm and accuracy. Tarvaris didn't have great receivers. I mean, Berrian was good, But not great. Rice was injured until Favre came. He had Adrian Peterson to run which Coach Childress did all the time. Tarvaris has never gotten a chance to prove himself in the National Football League.

@HowlinAdamJames yes he did do good but he needs to be good all the time im not ignorant im just using what ive seen of him id prefer we use like rosenfels we shoulda kept him or frerotte for one more year i just dont think hes that good in the NFL

I believe TJ may be a good qb someday. WIth the talent around him, maybe a pro bowl qb. But he has GOT to step up

I like T-Jack a lot. It sucks that he'll be riding the bench with the Vikings once again. He could start on a few teams right now, like the Browns, Panthers, or Bills.

i think the addition of toby gerhart was the best thing to happen to tarvaris and the vikings. they can now get back to running the ball and using boot with tarvaris, which would take away his weakness which is reading the field, and giving him an option to run it himself.

@shawn3975 oh yeah really doing a lot. Like throwing 6 picks in 3 games. And letting AP carry the load on offense. When jackson player Rice wasn't as good, troy Williamson was still on the team and he couldn't catch a cold. Not to mention childress has jackson on a leash and rarley let him take over a game which he has done the few times he has gotten the opportunity. Favre is not that good. Jackson can run and throw. I could hand the ball off to AP and watch him run. That's all favre is doing.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix I posted that comment before this season started. Yes farve is starting to show his age,and rice is not playing. That said farve is much better then jackson.

@shawn3975 I don't know about that. Favre has the ability to be better but he isn't playing better then Jackson could play. Jackson didn't have a good team when he started. It was him and AP. Favre has a matured Rice percy harvin. Jackson Just needs a chance. Every game he came into last year he played well. In the pre season he played well. He needs a chance.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix how did jackson look good in preseason? he did nothing, but the man who played better got the boot. The only reason T Joke is still on the team is because childress cant admit that he drafted a bust for a qb.

@theanimal26 He is not a bust. He's gotten better. Then when he finally seems like he's going to break out the washed up pick machine shows up. Has a nice year but now sucks. Tarvaris is talented and so is joe webb. The vikes need to trade jackson or webb and start which ever one they don't trade. Jackson can play. You forget he'd proably have 10 more career td passes if he had a good WR instead of Troy I drop everything williamson.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix he showed in preseason with better receivers that he couldn't do jack with them. Sage was able to make every throw, but Jackson did nothing but look at one guy then running it. face it, he is not a good player. Childress says he looks good in practice, well everyone looks better then they are in practice, but when game time comes; jackson chokes every time. If favre never came, the vikings would be the joke of the NFC north. I would rather take my chances with webb.

@theanimal26 how about in 08 when he got you into the playoffs. winning 4 out of the last 5 and only losing one because of peterson's fumbles. He's a good player. When he came in last season to relief favre he played well. He's got the ability. That and the fact childress has him in a run on first and 2nd down and pass on 3rd and long offense. Take the leash off jackson and he plays well. Looks at his game vs arizona a few years back. tds on a team that would go on to the superbowl.

@GTAMoviesAndFlix I have to correct you, jackson didn't get the vikings to the playoffs; Gus Frerotte did. AP lead them into the playoffs,when gus got hurt. besides, they had and easy schedule at the end anyway.

@theanimal26 uh no. Jackson had good games in those final 4 or 5 games. Ap cost them the game vs ATL with his fumbles when Jackson had a good game. Jackson Lit up The defense of Arizona who went to the SB that year. He beat the defending SB champs in week 17. It wasn't all him but he was a big part. He's got the talent. watch if he gets the shot
