We have lived here for about three years and have four children ages 3-12 and they love it. There are hiking trails, canoeing on the river, and we get out on the lake all the time. It is only a couple minutes drive from our cabins. We also get a lot of couples that stay also so to answer your question, the area is great for anyone that loves the outdoors.

My wife and I stayed here. The cabins are the best and affordable. Lookking forward to going back.
