  • CAN U MAKE A Longer VIDEO EXPLAINing THIS. with more time to count....also do u have a video for 16th dotted 8th's and 16th/8th/16th rhythms?

  • ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

shoot man... im thinking this might not bwe for me lol... i'm a drummer. i saw u have saxaphone stuff.. wud this still apply to the drums?

  • it sounds like ur counting the dotted's as 1 uh 2 uh 3 uh 4. wudnt that b how u count regular 8ths? is there anyway u can play some dotted eith notes and regular 8ths with a metronome on a video for me?

i hope im not being a bother

  • @dylster21502 I will make the video this weekend for ya. thanks for watching!

  • counting them i mean

  • so wats the difference between dotted 8th notes and regular 8th notes?

  • @dylster21502 Thanks for watching. The dot after the 8th note contains half the value of the previous note. So, (a dotted 8th) would be the equivalent of three 16th notes held as one note. Does that make sense?

  • @kcandfen no. lol

i just began reading music. im on lesson 3 or 4 in syncopation and im almost ready to move on to dotted 8ths but my instructor is on vacation lol. id like to surprise him and show him i wasnt on vacation while he was gone lol.. so bare with me-im new lol

when u say a dotted 8th equivalent of three 16th notes held as one note- u mean like a roll? i really dont think i no how to count halfs either. im gonna look for a video of urs for counting 8ths- i hope im doin rite
