Music is nothing but scales and arpeggios. This is none if the above. It is interesting though. It is extremely difficult to play around with dissonance and it sound that well.

I'm a cellist. This is definitely a unique and wonderful piece. Good rendition as well. The people who criticize this lack the mind required to understand music's multitudinous incarnations. The tastebuds of their narrow eardums shrink from alien flavours.

Music is meant to be beautiful formed from the soul, not formed from math like this music. This music is garbage, it shows no emotion besides confusion and anger. It has no pulse, it has no feel, the only thing it does have in common with music is sound. Even from a market point of view this music has failed, DOWN WITH CONTEMPORARY MUSIC!!!!!

@skyd171 I didn't say music didn't involve math, just not all music is formed from math like this garbage, the only reason why people like this music is because it's complicated. Anybody can "write" noise like this, write down the notes and label it music. Even the title says it, new noise. Exactly what it is, and what this will always be, noise. This music is useless as John Cage's 4'33". Beethoven is rolling over in his grave because of this noise.

It's hard to dance to, but I kinda liked it. The slow slides were pretty sweet, and I really enjoyed when it would come down to the low two open strings for a consonant growl.

Everyone's entitled to their opinions. I liked it and have no reason to think she didn't perform the piece as written.

Would crisper articulations make this better? Try making this completely metric and even to start and then pick irregularities based on what you see as harmonically important? Pick voices. Sing the melody and then you'll know how to play it. Maybe. These are just guesses. Nice job with a weird piece.
