You can use namebench(google code 20% project) to benchmark whether you are optimizing your dns settings or not. The DNS server I am using is about 35% faster than OpenDNS. This is why ymmv.

yes, but this is also a very unsecure way to boost your internet speed.. since all the surfing you've been doing will be cached into some stranger's server, you probably never know what will happen.

Yeah I tried this before watching your video and worked fine, the difference is that I only typed home on my adress bar and presto, also I did some port forwarding and used the open dns settings on my wii as well and I have to say the improvement was very noticeable, greetings and keep those vids coming
