i use to have a sweet black 97 blazer with like a 2in leaf spring lift with some 30in bfgs iowa mud is tough shit its thicker than most and that thing would go just about anywhere untill it came to snow ha i got stuck 2 times in a week but i loved that thing but i traded it in 4 a 97 yukon now that SOB will go anywere but also has lift and 33in mud bogers!!
Doesn't seem to be any lift to that Blazer, there is NO WAY he's clearing 31's with stock everything. Sorry man, but I think Mdnky is right. Those are not 31's, definitely 235's. He would be lucky to clear 30's with that suspension being stock. I have an '88 S10 pickup and I had to lift her a couple inches just to clear the 31's. So a Blazer would need more lift, cause of the rear not having much clearance.
Just got a 2002 2-Door LS Blazer. I can't wait to take it offroard soon. I have no lift on it yet, but i'm going to add a 4" and some 35's soon. :) awesome vid man! keep up the sweet vids
jeeps suck. plain out. i got a 98 blazer lt sitting on 31x10.5/r15s with a magna flow 50 series exhuast on it. the thing goes anywhere in 2WD!! 4WD is a tank. i've pulled out lifted dodges and fords=) all new halogene light hook ups and a 450$ kenwood slide out deck. i need tips on uploading pics? dont have a video recorder. any help?.....
@TheDirtyBlazerBoy Jeeps might not have the low end power, or the ability to drag anything out of a bad situation, but you make a Jeep light, put aggressive tires on it, and lift it, it's a hell lot lighter than a full sized blazer and it will float over mud. Just because something has more power doesn't mean its better.
@TheDirtyBlazerBoy -- I just bought a 4x4 V6 Toyota, import, and like I said Chevy might have more power, but that's just a bigger engine that runs downhill later. Toyota pickups are the definition of reliable. Jeeps are just as reliable, but get the crap tore out of them if you modify them. Yota's ftw
@VindicatedNinja why wud u buy a toyota!!!!! ur a fucking RETAAARD. and the whole motor thing u jus said about runnin dowhill. learn ur shit. the v6 4.3vortec is the best motor besides the 350. my motor and tranny r original and i have 175,5xx. and i beat the PISS out of it. see ur chinkmobile do that!! hahaha
@TheDirtyBlazerBoy You seem to fit the stereotypical american redneck. Chevy/Ford/Dodge eats imports. Toyota's are made to last, and even if you beat the crap out of them they will out last any Chevy or Ford made. Watch "Top Gear - killing a Toyota Pt 1 - BBC". I've got 178,650 and it seems that people who drive Toyota's have enough sense to keep them in good condition. Have fun driving your gas drinking truck that you've "beat the piss out of". I'd rather drive my perfect condition truck.
@Arcov77 Yea, the new Tacoma's aren't anything what the old Pickups were now a days, but same goes to other brands. Newer vehicles are just dying way to fast, people run them hard because they think new is better where it's not true.
last month my blazer was in a ditch with 3 feet of snow...... 10 tries and i got out!!! well in 4 low and just street tires!! the blazers have a special 4wd compared at anything else....
Thanks for the vid. Now im a bit confident on getting a chevy over a jeep (getting it for free). Based on the blazer offroad vids in youtube, ur actually a better driver. Ur smart u know ur not lifted and got no traction with those street tires u played it safe great job thanks for the vid
you should never under estamate a chevy my friend.. and dude. your better off riding the ruts just punch it, it will pull its self threw i just bought a 95 4x4 s10 blazer with 140k miles on it. for $500 it was a steal!! i took it out in some trails in maryland on street tires and the back ones were bald and it pulled threw everything i threw at it.. had a slight problem with a hole i droped it in but a lil rocking back and forth and she got out.... good luck with your blazer man..
Those sure don't look like 31s to me. I have a 98 LT running 30x9.5 BFG ATs and they look bigger than those. The one in the vid looks like a 235/75/15 which is aprox. a 28.5" to 28.75" diameter.
Maybe so, if you notice there was a question mark there for that truck.... He replaced the rims and the tires for sure, just was not sure to what size...
Those things perform nicely, I know. I have an '88 S10 pickup 4x4, with 3 1/2" susp. lift and 33.7x12.50R15 mud terrains. ;) She takes those trails like a beast!! I mud bog with her later in the year each year. Though the open diffs are getting annoying. I need to get that problem assessed, haha.
@junior3382 yea those are 235's got the same ones only on a 96 the old stock blazer sure can go more places than i ever thought lol i was keeping up with 2 lifted jeeps hahahahaha took em down a notch
a few weeks ago my brother got his blazer stuck so bad i had to go get the old ford tractor to pull him out of the sticky spot he was in but all in all it does damn good on our 60 acres
Sadly no. Blazer got destroyed about two weeks ago. However, my buddy took the lift and installed it on his blazer with some mudders, and I will soon post a video with his.... For the reference at least. Sadly I had to let it go, and I bought a 2004 F250 with 34's..... and soon i will have a video with that one too.

Like I mentioned one hte forum, the SAS should be done done and ready for use by summer.... but if we go spring, then it will still have more then in this video... 4" total with 32's... But like I have also mentioned Fasel, just name time and place.... I will be there...LOL
