  • Woww.. that was beautiful sighhhh :)

I was about 8 when I first heard my teenage sister playing this in her room I LUVED it, keds shoes, slouch socks and the frizzy hair days.. I need a time machine NOW lol :)

  • Although their dance tunes were generally pretty good, I think the ladies prove here that it was the slower songs where they really excelled. And since the videos for their faster-paced songs seem to have a lot more quick edits in them, the ballads like this one allow us to get longer, uninterrupted looks at them, and that's a good thing.

  • I loved them back in the day and still do

  • oh oh oh i LOVE THIS DARN SONG SO VERY MUCH i only wish they could have made more music together. i tingle inside when this plays god bless expose

  • Can't believe its been 20 years since this came out. So many good memories. With I could turn back the clock and live there forever.

  • @hawwkfan It would be great! I wish they invented time machines lol I would live in the 80's forever, too.

  • That is her real husband in the video the one with the black hair.dont kw if she still with him but at the time...MIAMI 305

  • Good song , wish i could go back in time and do it all over,

What fun it would be, Superbad1965

  • It sure brings back memories!

  • bring back memories

  • The extra-long version of this (I had the original album on CD and it was a bonus track) is an awesome song, too. Jeanette had a fabulous voice. If only female trios out there today sang like this- no histrionics, just great harmonies and talent over hype.

  • you 13 that gave thumbs go fuck your cd player. these talented ladies were right there when we needed some real music to brighten up our lives expose is spot on excellent

  • @topcatroar61oliosc someone needs a hug

  • 1989 and beautiful times!!!

  • I wish the 80's would come back. When music was so beutiful and innocent...

  • awesome 80s bass....

  • The lead sing looks like America Ferrera.

  • Nice!

  • 3rd grade memories.haha

  • Hit #3 AC, #10 pop in Billboard. Lewis Martinee sure knew how to write girl-oriented lyrics, right, gang? God bless!

  • this song brings bac good memories when i was hangin out pass curfew wit da boys lol

  • awesome memories to an awesome group. i hear they are still performing select events. thanks for posting.

  • This song came out when I was a senior in high school! It reminds me of the guy I had a huge crush on then.

    Dawn

  • god women are so corny

  • Now, this IS a ballad! If you have a lighter, go ahead and light it up while rocking your body! Yeeaah!

  • I can't seem to stop watching this video. I am wondering if the guy that is with Ann is the same guy at the end of the video that runs to Jeanette.

  • What a great song this is....fabulous!!!!

  • I agree with Tonster

  • I agree with Tonster.

  • Jeanette looks like America ferrera. Lol

  • Good song! Wish they made songs like this today.

  • I heard this on the radio a couple of days ago. Haven't heard it in YEARS. Great song!

  • Some good & decent romantic music!

  • i love this song

  • I bet the bass in this song sounds alot like what it would sound like in your bed after you fucked one of these girls and then they passed out, if you took them out earlier to where they wanted to eat, say, to a Red lobster or Applebee's or some place similar.

  • @flagascaro youre an idiot

  • Reminds me of a lot of long late 80's nights of gender orientation ambiguity. With bleach jobs like that, go figure?

  • this is one of my favorite songs... good old days.... wish i could turn back time..

  • the girls had pipes. Had a crush on Ann Curless 21 yrs & pounds ago & could relate 2 her walking alone amid several lovers @ 3:06. I wanted 2 say "Ann, pick me & you'll never walk a lonely stretch again." still like 'em.

  • the dark haired singer looks like Phoebe Cates, thought it was for a second-damn I'm old now-that sucks!

  • it does briing memories

  • Amazin' how Lewis Martinee can write from the viewpoint of a woman. Hit # in Billboard. God bless!

  • such an awesome pop song !! long live Expose :)

  • Takes me back to the summer of 1989!

  • @Charliecomet82

Takes me back too. I had just gotten engaged and this song kind of pointed toward the great big unknown future that was ahead for me and my wife. That piano lick really is a great hook.

  • 1989

  • Wow man Expose was great

  • when i looked at aurora it was love eternerly........im dedicating this to you baby.....i love you.

  • Sing it girls!

  • TOP SHELF

  • YEAH, I REMEMBER THIS SONG!

    This was the $H*T

  • I really miss the group, expose

  • What happened to this group? When & WHY did they Split up?

    Thanks

  • @Getrealpeeps To answer your question, back in 1990, Gioia (the black-haired one) discovered a tumor on her vocal cords (benign). She was forced to leave the group because she could barely talk, let alone sing. In 1991, they replaced her with another singer named Kelly Moneymaker, and Expose then released their 3rd album in 1992. They broke up again, then in 2006 Gioia, who had regained her voice, joined them again. They still perform live; check them out on YouTube!

  • @kathleeenm They still perform live; as of 2006, when Gioia rejoined the group. There are live performances of them in the last few years; just do a seach for Expose 2007, 2008 or 2009; they still sound great!

  • @stromssa

    Oh Ok,

    Thanks

  • ES UN TEMA MUY REMANTICO...........

  • Very nice song!!!! When I look at him...Cuando lo miro !!!!

  • I'm wondering where this shot this video. I think it was on the Gulf Side. Panama City? Estero Beach? Fort Myers? I was stationed in Jacksonville for a while so I know it wasn't there.

Thank goodness the group came to the Naval Air Statio for a concert and it was

a once in a lifetime thing. They were all really nice people besides being thermonuclear hot and EXTREMELY

    gifted singers.

    You keep going girls forever!!

  • it was filmed in detroit,Mich

  • @justmedick: You probably mean the post-production. Coconut palms and royal palms at 42º N latitude and over 800 miles from the Atlantic would be weird.

From the architecture, I'd guess the video was shot at Fairchild Tropical Gardens and either Estero Beach or a Gold Coast location.

  • Detroit with Palm trees....this person must be dreamin or on serious drugs ;)

  • @hananokuni2580

yeah Detroit would be weird, but there really palm trees at the botanical gardens in Scotland, due to the Gulf Stream influence

  • Palm trees also grow in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. As long as it's a location where snow does not stay on the ground for long, palms can be grown. Some palms like the coconut palm and royal palm, however, will grow only in tropical climes.

Palms are not really fond of the cold, so in cool temperate zones they will be found mainly in rocky locations, since rocks store heat well. In fact, in Scotland warmth-loving plants are often planted next to rocks and boulders.

  • @hananokuni2580

Excellent !!! So what would be some good palm species that would grow well, let's say, in the Vacouver BC metro area?

    Thanx in advance !!!

  • @theSTAR70: Vancouver, BC has a "semi-mediterranean" climate, so the worst that can happen is a bit of snow and frost.

Chamaerops humilis is a good species. Will withstand temperature drops to -12ºC, but grows best in hot summers. Some sabal palm species are also cold-hardy.

    Go here for more: /watch?v=BQ0r_yklrDI&feature=related

And look up "hardy palms" online ^^

  • thank you !!! i will definately grow some of them if/when i move to Van City !!!

  • how i miss the 80s but expose will b in concert at spotlight casino nxt wk n i am going to c them !!!!

  • your so lucky i've always wanted to see them...

  • That brunette in the black bra is FUUCCCKKKKKIIIIINNNNNSEXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is gioia bruno

  • Expose got their props when they were out in the mid 80s to early 90s. But somehow, they have been forgotten and don't get the credit they deserve retrospectively.

  • he is so HOT!

  • he is gay..expose like to hire gay guys for their vidoes.

  • Are you sure??? because if it is what a waste.... he is incredibly cute.... my dream type of guy... i would fall in love in flash...

  • dam..i just joined the army in 89 when i was 17 and remember hearing this song on my walkman thinking of my girl..too bad she turned out to be a crack head and have 5 kids all from different guys.

  • What are you trying to say? LOL...

  • Working at HD in canton MI on 2/08/07 I had a customer that I realized was more than just a customer he was my soul mate. Ever since that day I have had this song in my head but couldn't remember the lyrics or the name of it, all I could remember was eternally. It finally hit me who sang it on 10/9/09. When I found out the name I realize how fitting it was to the encounter. To this day I deeply love a person that I dont even know their name or number. I dedicate this song to him.

  • I love this song! I still have it on a mix tape I made off the radio when I was a sophomore in college back in 1989. I miss music like this.

  • Nice song. Boy do I miss the 80's. For some reason I had the VCR tape of all their hits.I used to watch this one over and over. Its a nice romantic song

  • great song, but the guy in the moustache has GOT TO GO....LOL

  • He looks like porn star, Ron Jeremy, only not as short or fat.....

  • Oh my god , dude , you nailed it right on the head on that one, I think the only difference is this guy is 100 pounds less

  • EXCELENTISIMA BALADA IN THE 80S

  • Jennette is one awesome 80s chick. I had this CD in 91 and I thought the girls were great. I really miss those days when Jeanette and Ann and Gioia were totally hot.

  • Well all things must pass as the man said, but what is wrong with them now? I think they look great.

  • Definitevly the best song of EXPOSE, i missed those years

  • I love this song, it reminds of when music was just music ,u didnt have to be black or white, to listen to this kind of music ...

  • makes me miss my marine corp days

  • I was 17 years old when this song came out!!!!!!! I'm 40 now .....I wish I could turn back the hands of time!!!!! Those were the best days of my life.......I just get so sad when I here Expose's love songs,They remind me of my teenage sweetheart!!!!!!!

  • freakin love the 80's hair, and the high waisted shorts and the clothes, OMG

  • By far, this is the best song and video ever from Expose.

  • Reminds me when I was a teenager...A long time ago.....Love you Jose Hernandez!!!!! Where ever you are,Have'nt seen you for 20 years......

  • You may want to let him know who you are too.

Otherwise every Jose Hernandez's hearts will be pounding.

  • That's the problem,I don't know where he lives,I heard he's somewhere in Texas!!! Can you help me find him???????

  • Wow...what a song...

    10 stars!!

  • Oh gioia!

  • I love this song when I heard it it reminds me of my first love very beautiful

  • oh my goodness! this was the most beautiful song.i remember when i was 14 years old in 1989.i loved it it was my very favorite.lol i use to listen to it over and over and think about a certain guy i had a crush on lol! why can't music be this good nowadays? and wow that good was so handsome in the video wow!!!!!!!! (ladies chekc out the first guy) hahah whaooh

  • Such a beautiful video with the background of Miami(I think this is Miami) and I like the ending with just the three girls improvising on the beach.

  • I FINALLY found this song! It reminds me of when I was 5 or 6 years old.having fun at st. matthews (a private school). I never knew who sang this song. and I couldnt remember the words--just the part when they sing 'when I looked at him" , but in my head it was 'la la la la' ...lol.. I knew it was a girl group though and since it wasnt wilson philips, I figured it had to be expose. Im so glad I found this song again after 20 years!

  • I hadn't heard this since may the 90s. love it

  • AMAZING VOICE!!!

  • Why is the pretty dark haired girl (can't spell her name) with Ron Jeremy-lite in this video? The guy with the porn-stache doesn't fit the feel of the video or song.

  • Haha, I was thinking the same. That dude is pretty ugly.

  • lol but the first guy was hot! the second one icky lol.

  • Wonderful song. Expose was dripping with talent. The radio stations in my town don't play this nearly enough. Five stars.

  • God damn. This is great music.

  • now this is a true ballad.. not like the Beyonce, Ciara, stupid gangsta hip hop ballad crap.

  • A definite baby-maker!!!!!

  • looooove this! : )

  • Ah Man, What a Great song...

  • exelente cancion, me recuerda mi niñez un clasico de siempre recordar

  • ah, the 1980s we were all thinner then.

  • im still thin.

  • LOL! I know I was! :)

  • Uhh...got pregnant to this song. Kid is eighteen. Really...

  • why do you make it sound like a bad thing?

  • I didn't? Maybe you just took it the wrong way. Thx.

  • I think Gioia was getting a lot of recognition in that era. I wa there in Miami! Then unfortunately a throat tumor was found on her vocal chords. Her singing career was put on hold for several years, she was told to NOT even talk! So, she was definitely under-recognized!

  • Love you Gioia!

  • A little trivia for ya...

Lew Martinez was behind that Florida/laid back/tropical-ish sound that carried Expose.

The Pet Shop Boys enlisted him on "Domino Dancing"-check that one out and you really get the whole "dreamy tropical" sound that I just loved in 80's music.

  • Lewis Martineé

  • This Song Is So pretty, So Gentle And Yet So Passionate... Thank You For Taking The Time To Post This Song...

  • tears fall,because it was such a time !

  • which songs did ann sing in? or was she just the one who toured with them? how many girls were in this group? have two tapes . ann is on them but her name is not ?

  • 66 as far as i remember, ANN was in all the songs. Gioia had to be replaced due to tumor on her vocal cords, she was replaced with Kelly Moneymaker

  • they dont make any songs like this anymore but it sure brings me back memories of my boyfriend and when i was a teenager

  • When I look at him......

I am floating through space, drifting into his arms.

  • some of the scenes are reminiscent of a cinemax movie late at night.hubba hubba.

  • This is definitely a baby-maker.

  • I'm pretty sure that if not for Jeanette, you would never have heard of Expose". But a great trio nonetheless. They don't make em like this anymore. The 80's were the Best !!! BTW I had to hide the fact that I liked Expose from my friends or put up with the gay jokes.

  • What a great feeling to have, even if only once in a lifetime. Lindy , this ones for you my angel, from that first time I looked at you I knew we would be together forever.

RIP my love, even though your gone, we will forever be one. I love you so much, you are my heart and soul.

  • Damn America Ferrerra ( ugly betty) looks like she could be the lead singer Jeanettes daughter or something.... Man we sure did have some good music in the 80s

  • so the ones singing this particular song are ..who? LOL..isnʾt the one lead singer the singer for both lineups???~totally confused~

  • Which songs does Amy lead? I want to hear her voice, I heard Goia and Jeanette but I would like to hear Amy's as well

  • You mean Ann, and the songs she sings lead are:

    Extra, Extra

    Stop, Listen, Look & Think

    Now That I Found You

    I Think I'm In Trouble

As Long As I Can Dream

    Just to name a few.

  • Expose one of the greatest female groups in the late 80s and early 90s

with its original line-up(Samdra"Sandee"Casañas, Alejandra"Alé"Loremzo And Laurie Miller)

and its second line-up too(Jeanette Jurado, Gioa Bruno and Ann Curless)

these girls remember me all those ladies of freestyle, wish 80s would be back once again

  • Sandra " sandee " passed away earlier this year .. RIP sandee you will be missed ... but your music will carry on

  • LA MORENA PARECE BETTY LA FEA!

  • I love this song. Its so beautiful.

  • Man this takes me back.89' third grade. This was good music.

  • what does ''woot'' mean? lol

  • More arcane Internet slang speak. In this case, I think it means something like "wow"

  • We Own Other Team

  • huh?

  • W00T

  • W00T = We Own Other Team

  • the lead singer kinda reminds me of America Ferrera from Ugly Betty.

  • I still love this song to this day. The memoires that fills me when I listen to this song. Thank you Expose for you wonderful songs.

  • Comment removed

  • They are some dolls that can SING! ... I love them ...

  • of course you're joking....

    lol

  • lol i'm not joking someone like Miley Cyrus or any other Disney star might catch on to this song and cover it in a very bad way lol you think i'm kidding? try listening to Miley's awful cover of ''Girls Just Wanna Have Fun'' by Cyndi Lauper.

  • OMG-I used to love this song!!
