Hey guys, I'm 15 and I'm trying to get some exposure on youtube so if you have some spare time please check out some of my guitar covers. It sucks to advertise like this but it seems like the only way to get more views. Thanks if you check them out :)
Betales is all an history, is a classic , is modern, is all. This song, as others, are the best music made in the history of the modern music. Great pleasure, to listen THE BEATLES.
Just really finding the Beatles now (loved A Hard Days Night so I've gotten hooked on these songs)...but the constant comments about todays music being crap annoy me. There's always good music. Sometimes they're not in the mainstream but that doesn't mean there's no good bands out there today.
seriously, guys, be objective: this song sucks (lyrics and music). i mean, maybe it was good enough for the old days, but this doesn't go well for today's audience, who are more educated, music wise. i'm sorry ut the only reason to like this is misplaced nostalgia
@DaveHof no, but i don't mean that in an agressive way. of course you're allowed to like it: i just ask for people to be objective (as in "not listening with nostalgia"). also, i don't think i'm in the minority: i have never met a person -among the young i mean- who actually liked the beatles. they know they exist, sure, they don't hate them, but i never met a fan. just because the media say they'e popular doesn't mean it's true. think by yourself, don't drink the kool aid.
@edouard2895 Thats your opinion which your entitled to but your wrong about your other comment about them not having a young audiance because i,m 19 and I like them also over the past decade 2000-2011 they are the highest selling bandand the highest earning of 2000 30 years arfter they broke up.Also I seen an interview with the man who does the tours of JL old house and he said they get thousands and thousands of visiters a year young and old from over 55 countrys.
@MrMGD92 that's what the media says. but look around you: do you know many beatles fan? see, don't drink the kool aid, think by yourself (and i'm totally ok with th fact that YOU love the beatles, by the way, it's cool, i just don't think you can say they'e popular just because you like them)
@edouard2895 Why would the media say it if it wasen,t true?I do know beatles fans my cousain my auntie and three people I knew in collage.Don,t think just because you don,t like them they are not popular.
@pontusgardinger Absaloute BULLSHIT.Micheal Jackson did NOT write any songs for the beatles or did he play any instruments for them or did he compose any of their music.
@MrMGD92 Sure he did. Of all people, Beatles fans should be aware of that. And Michael fans ofcourse. According to Ringo Starr, in an interview which he gave in 1992, Michael wrote Strawberry fields forever in 4 hours. After this he had completed the lyrics, music and put down every single instrument part in the studio.
@MrMGD92 Ok, you win. I actually respect The Beatles alot, and Lennon/McCartney are the most successful songwriters of all time. I guess you could call me a troll, but my intentions are not to make people angry. I've done just the same thing on Michael videos, claiming that Stevie Wonder, Phil Collins, Prince and even Jerry Seinfeld wrote his songs. I'm kind of hated by some MJ fans, even though he's my favourite artist.
@pontusgardinger are freaking kidding me??? JOHN wrote Strawberry Fields Forever. Any Beatles fan would know that. I bet that you know NOTHING about the Beatles. You're not even a fan.
@MrMGD92 He was a child prodigy! 4 years old and helped write Penny Lane and an absolute whizz on the chad vally zylophone. He even helped Dirk Nasty, oh sorry wrong band...............
@TheDavidjoy Who Micheal Jackson?I am not sure how many estates he owned,he was in alot odebt when he died,The only estate I heard of him owning was TB estate which by itself was enough to pay off half of his debt.It was/is worth about $500 million.
@pontusgardinger Okay, I usually just laugh at arguments over youtube, because, well, seriously? But, I have to say something this time. I'm eighteen and most of my friends like the Beatles, I've always been a fan. And Michael Jackson did not write or compose their songs, he just bought the rights!
@chooseitwisely No, he actually wrote all their songs between the ages of 5-12, and gave them to The Beatles. What he didn't realize though was that they would become such big hits. So he bought them in 1985, feeling they belonged to him as he was the songwriter.
@pontusgardinger Okay, I'm not going to be one of those people who argues on youtube, so you just go along with thinking that... even though it simply is not logical in so many different ways.
@chooseitwisely Ok. I will go along with my thinking, 'cause it's the truth. Michael also taught them all how to play their instruments, and he played all the instruments in the studio as well as producing them.
Great music. I'm a 16 year old musician. I write and record my OWN music by myself with no assistance, not fake crap like today's. Please have a listen on my channel. Thanks guys!
@itsawarmgun i am more fond of there early albums. the love songs were the fire that ignited the flame. the later stuff is more depressing but also amazing at the same time so i dunno. thats whats awesome about the beatles was there transformation. the early stuff is completely different then the older stuff its like two different bands.
@itsawarmgun Two great picks, but Rubber Soul & Revolver are masterpieces. Help not too dissimilar from AHDN. Pepper, is overrated but must be considered. MMT is vastly underrated. Please Please Me was recorded in a single day (aside from PPM&LMD). With The Beatles is uniquely special despite covers. Beatles for Sale is amazing since it was virtually written during tour breaks. @myrtlebox You're right, all of them were spectacular in their own sense. The two I mentioned are my favorites by slim margains. I think A Hard Day's Night is underrated, it's not usually recognized as one of their best.
there are two people out there who could possibly be the stupidest people on the face of the earth..........WTF is there not to like about this song?????........if this don't get your feet tappin', you have absolutely no soul............
@88alaktal yea, sadly. neither will there be another Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen or any other of those great bands. the music industry has changed so, so much. and yet ruined it all.
nowadays kids have computers and all those fancy things, so no one actually goes out and gets inspired. man, it sucks. in the old times people actually had talent. i haven't seen anyone with such as great talent in 20th century. but who knows, maybe some day.
@LOVEHATEREPEAT I want to believe that, but the fact of the matter is that the music business has been so corrupt for so long that I really don't believe that it has changed much (in this context I am speaking of the music industry in the aspect that "it's our way or the highway"). When you look at the pressure that Badfinger, Neil Young, etc. were under, not to mention the crappy hair bands of the 80's, the music industry has been the same. I would say that the listeners have gotten lazier.
@LOVEHATEREPEAT There is talent out there you just have to look harder for it. Check out the band Portugal. The Man. To me, they actually seem to have a lot of Beatles influence in their music.
@LOVEHATEREPEAT I'm a kid, but I can appreciate that this is great music, and I agree that nowadays almost all songs are auto-tuned and don't have well thought out lyrics, both of which are bad. I think that the nineties were the last time music was good, and I was too young to care then, so I feel like I missed a lot.
@m1seed lol there ain't any good local gigs in Finland, I have to say. And I think that the first comment I posted wasn't exactly what I meant. Sure I like bands like The Black Keys, Bon Iver, Arctic Monkeys, Wilco, Oasis, Wavves, Ryan Adams and so on. They are talented for sure, but c'mon, are any of those enough to compare with The Beatles? or Jimi Hendrix? Led Zeppelin? Queen? Pink Floyd? I think not, but everyone has their own opinion. You gotta respect that.
Isaw the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show on February 9.1964. I was only 7 at the time, bit my dad called me into the tv room to watch the boys with the long hair. LOL.
Also, I was born on a Sunday. January 6, 1957. That was the day Elvis was on Ed Suyllivan and shown only from the waist up. We all know why years later. I quess I was born to Rock-N-Roll!!! Ed Sullivan Sunday nights was a right of passage for all of us baby boomers!! He put on so many good rock-n-roll bands of the day.
nothing like a Beatles Morning :))) I remember some great one's.
Waking next to my sweetheart then Kissing, Dancing & Singing around the bedroom, making the bed then chasing each other laughing & falling on the bed to Kiss again...... I should have married him. He was Crazy Fun :))))
I got my first vinyl record and a gramophone when I was 10 years old. It was a "Blue Album". It was a moment I started to love their songs. During years I managed to get almost all of their records.
Today I'm 41 and I'm still in love with their music.
And when I tell you that I love you, you're gonna say you love me too, and when I asked you to be mine... you gonna say you love me too. So easy, it may seem... I should have known better with a girl like you... uuuu... uuuu.
@klmku047 mine was "love me do". My daddy always listens to the albulm with the "1" on it and Love ME do was the first track of the CD. that was like 9 years ago when I was like 4. I miss those times because my parents are divorced and I dont get to see my dad that much.
That's one of the most astonishing facts about this phenomenal group. There is no such thing as a bad Beatles song. Everyone song they recorded could have been what we call a "one hit wonder" for any act. Simply amazing. The Beatles will live forever.
@drunkdonutboy thats very true. i'm normally more into soul & funk and stuff like that, but there are always weaker songs...not with the beatles. plus, every song has a kind of unique chord structure and is interesting to play. maybe the greatest band ever?
My first ever favorite song...i was 5 years old when i first hears this! it's been with me and there other songs ever since....im 37 now

Please listen to it!

I got my first vinyl record and a gramophone when I was 10 years old. It was a "Blue Album". It was a moment I started to love their songs. During years I managed to get almost all of their records.
Today I'm 41 and I'm still in love with their music.

@TheRacoonStudios actually, it wouldn't be "substitute". It'd be "fill in". or some such.

This is a GREAT example of why I would've LOVED to live back then. Just the heart and soul they put in their music is just amazing.

And when I tell you that I love you, you're gonna say you love me too, and when I asked you to be mine... you gonna say you love me too. So easy, it may seem... I should have known better with a girl like you... uuuu... uuuu.

klmku047 1 year ago
@klmku047 mine was "love me do". My daddy always listens to the albulm with the "1" on it and Love ME do was the first track of the CD. that was like 9 years ago when I was like 4. I miss those times because my parents are divorced and I dont get to see my dad that much.

Like Fine Wine, these songs get better with Age.

That's one of the most astonishing facts about this phenomenal group. There is no such thing as a bad Beatles song. Everyone song they recorded could have been what we call a "one hit wonder" for any act. Simply amazing. The Beatles will live forever.

I can't find one bad beatles song. Even the ones that didn't get much publicity are fuckin great. Now I know why they're so hailed.

@drunkdonutboy thats very true. i'm normally more into soul & funk and stuff like that, but there are always weaker songs...not with the beatles. plus, every song has a kind of unique chord structure and is interesting to play. maybe the greatest band ever?
ggguzman 1 year ago
@drunkdonutboy There are a few not-so-great Beatles songs. Their worst songs still retain their unique charm, though...
