does anyone know my problem when I play rome I get a low framerate if I have my men on ultra unit size and when I do it on large I get around 40fps but when I start filming with fraps I get around 9 fps what is wrong

how do you get so many men at once? I got a pretty good pc but still cant get over 3000 units unless i use peasents

I just realized this is the SPQR mod, i love it, but this is totally sped up, you can tell by the way too fast camera motions such as turning and zooming in and out far too rapidly.

you can speed up the camera options i did to keep on top of every thing if its big battles (which obviously that is)

I can get 15,000(fifteen thousand) soldiers on one battlefield with only moderate lag, i'd say about 30fps almost the whole time. I love RTW. :D

nice but your supposed to look at the front line of your men when the enemy clashes into them, and maintain the camera there for perhaps 5-10 seconds. it looks uber nice!

Wow, the amount of ram really makes a difference. my specs are almost the same, Dual Core Processor 2.81 GHz, 8800GT but only 2 gb ram and with a battle like this my pc would lag.

thinking about buying those 2gb more now..
