They have a grenade that shoots lightning and a gun that fires some kind of strange beam. So parts of the gun are definitely based off an AR15 but the overall gun may not be exactly like one. Just like the hand gun or the shot gun or anything in this game. It's a game about a super soldier, a psychic and a city full of whacked out brain tapped freaks.

You may have noticed by now how powerful the slide attacks are, even if you haven't gotten jump down pat. You're also letting yourself get cornered too easily. You died a lot this time, and that's to be expected, the difficulty ramps up quite a bit it seems, but some of those deaths were you cornering yourself, and you need to avoid that. Keep it up though, you're doing alright.
