  • my all time favorite vid!!!! cuz it was the 1st one I saw....it has such a cool vibe with all the background noise goin on...reminds me of summer night partying outside.

  • Now THAT is a big ass zucchini! Holy crap!

  • One of my favs, Dan you rock! Dan you also rock because you are the only dude on the planet that doesn't block haters or negative comment makers like every other megalomaniac channel on YouTube. Dan you are a national (raw vegan) treasure and I appreciate your positive influence on my life. I love the juicer I bought on your Amazon portal.

  • chuck norris!

  • that salad looks/sounds incredibly delicious...no one i know understands my interest in raw food, or simply having a meal that doesnt involve meat (though i love meat, and always will, im certain) cool video, thanks for sharing!

  • if my girl friend wasn't asleep right now, i'd be in the kitchen making a rucus with this YUMMY looking recipe, can't wait til morning to try it!!!!!! God bless you

  • I love your videos!

  • We call that zucchini a marrow over here across the Atlantic. Agree with you about the bacteria point - people are far too wound up about keeping everything pristine clean the whole time ... you need exposure to keep your immune system working smoothly. I personally think any fruit and veg. you consume is good for you, as long as not bought from a supermarket chain where the produce is tasteless and chemicalised.

  • Ditto on the love! Love is the most powerful force in the universe, that is a fact. Love this recipe, going to try it right now. U rock Dan, keep up the amazing work!!!

  • DITTO on the love! It's the most powerful force in the universe and that is a fact. Love this recipe, going to try it right now. U rock Dan, thank you so much for sharing with us, keep up the amazing work!!!

  • Just Luv ya Dan you

  • can u come to england please

  • That is the absolute biggest zucchini I have ever seen in my life. I'm making this recipe for dinner tonight - thank you so much!! XOXO

  • Lol! Ok I'm def going to have a garden this summer. Beautiful salad! My mouth is watering. Wish I were there :)

  • Nice!

Try this same salad with cilantro instead of the dill....: amazing!

  • Great salad. I'm going to make this for myself tonight, sans leeks. After a while as a vegan I discovered that onions, garlic, etc.. didn't work for me at all too.

I've also found that my mind and body moved me more and more towards a major fruit component in my eating and after encountering the 80/10/10 scene this has been vindicated.

  • AWESOME salad!!! WOW!

  • Thanks! Very nice video ! That was great! Nice work, I love it! This tremendous show!!!

  • You making Gordon Ramsey eat his heart out...as if he has one

    :D

  • holy freaking crap look at that zucchini

  • froxeries was meant to say goceries or food from the allotment / garden / wild places

  • these images i feel is what all of humanity around me is curretly experiencing and learning to master , even if its just walking down the road to get some froxeries , we are all faced with the pressure of percivering and using our upmost strength to penetrate through the smog into the fresh air and light

  • THAT...is a zucchini??? On what planet? LOL...Seriously, it's bigger than a newborn baby!

That has got to be a hybrid, right?

    Looks tasty though.

    Much Love, Dan. =]

  • wow! that zucchini is huge! luv the cowboy hat and outfit.

  • I'm making this for my raw food potluck tomorrow! I have a big zucchini like that left over from my garden and this is perfect...got the other ingredients yesterday :) Can't wait to try it!

  • Hey, come to the east! The Smoky Mountains!!

  • Just found you videos!! Thanks a lot, your very fun and fresh.

P.S. Could care less that you didn't wash your hands, lol.

  • Dan, you are an amazing zuccorni salad making chef. I made this a few hrs ago and it knocks my socks off. Literally they are on the other side of my house.

  • Awesome! ;)

  • You are Awsome...! month raw since meeting Dr Doug Graham at his Health and Fitness Week retreat/boot camp:) HE talks about onions being a bit toxic and excite foods..have you read the 80/10/10 diet? I am sure you have...it is incredible. and Anne Osborne :Path to Paradise" SHE is 100% fruitarian..great book!

  • yes! read it when it came out! ;)

  • Made this tonight (or a variation pretty close at least) DAMN Dan that stuff be gooood!

  • I am digging these videos! thanks for pointing me in your direction! Best of luck with all you do!

  • Thank you! Best of luck to you too.....

  • Yo Dan what's up!!! I just wanted to ask you one thing about ayurveda, what do you think about it being a raw food teacher? I mean according to ayurveda cooked foods is more compatible for people to become more balance. It shows that long term raw foods actually becomes a problem and is only appropriate for PITTA(middle type) because of their digestive power(the highest of three types). According to my type(Kapha-big type) I should be eating cooked foods with hot spices to be healthy. Thanks

  • I just cannot understand how nature survived for billions of years on raw foods and then all the sudden it doesn't any more! Raw foods works for every other living species on the planet except humans? Hard to believe that could be the case...

  • Thanks Dan, i love watermelon!

  • Garlic and onions are tamsic and not rajsic. It causes inertia according to ayurveda.

  • Have you ever thought of having a logo, website address, or intro visuals in your videos?

  • Hi Life OM!

    yes, yes and yes!

we have lots going on, and we get over a dozen suggestions every day about what we need to do next (along with the lovely voices within our own heads!), and we can't make everything happen all at once...even though I know you totally mean well by your suggestion. ;)

so...thank you! but one thing at a time..."slow and steady wins the race" is the motto Dan & I live by.

    xoxo

    Krista

  • Raw vegan adventure channel would be AWESOME Dan!

What a great idea, i really love watching you go on those great wood and hiking outings. If i decide to go on a one day fast can i choose any fruit? What about watermelon?

  • Water melon fast is amazing!!!

  • You are so inspiring. In a cluttered and polluted world, you bring refreshment! Thank you so much. I'm so glad I found your videos. Please come to San Diego! II'm not a 100% raw (I wish) but I've made huge strides in cleaning up my diet. I've incorporated alot of raw foods. Try to eat mostly organic and stay away from packaged foods that are loaded with chemicals. You truly are making a difference!

  • Glad to have you here! ;)

  • @liferegenerator

Totally agree with the laprincesaraylene comment: "YOU ARE TRULY MAKING A DIFFERENCE!" As always, much love, blessings, and mellow peacefulness, Julie

  • Don't sweat the haters.. At ALL..

You're on the right path and helping out countless people. Dude, you made me break out my juicer after a long time and start living right!

    Live and love on Brother!!!

  • Hi Dan - This salad looks delicious. I never thought much about using fresh corn in salads until I started watching your videos - now I'm hooked!

Thank you for your videos, I appreciate them very much. And BOOOO to the negative posts or comments!! There will always be those kinds of people. I'm glad you're able to shrug off those comments. They have no validity! Keep doing exactly what you're doing!

    Debbie *Ü*

  • p.s. how is DAVE?????????

  • lookin good dan the man .... big thumbs down for the haters ..... why must people be so negative ..... I think your show rocks! And it keeps me motivated ... keep up the love work ...

  • thanks for answering my onion questions. this raw stuff is an adventure!

  • OMG I love this video:O

    I eat raw zucchini spaghetti:)

Its delicious, yours looks really delicious, I should try it with corn mmmm

  • It's interesting that you mention the sensitivity to food. The longer i've been on this raw diet the more my taste buds have changed.

  • Another great vid. will be trying this one.

Strange Question I have for LR what are your poos like are they soft or firm? I know weird

  • Who is LR? What's strange is I can't figure out to who you are asking this question!

  • OK, now I realize that I am LR! I just never heard it like that, guess I had to type it out in order for it to click. To answer your question, it depends. No, I don't need depends, it depends on what I eat: More salad = more firm. More fat = more loose. More fruit = just perfect; no residue, sometimes no need to wipe.

  • LR?

  • Life Regenerator! :)

  • Good Lord, dont get me wrong here,,,I really admire how you guys can go raw ,,,im not at that point yet who knows if i will be or not? I eat it raw and cooked both. As far as slaughtering my man goes......Geeze...hmmm...I'm not following u on this one. We're livin and lovin on staying in the gvoove and the beautiful music.

    ~Peace~

  • Mera, I was able to read your comment even though you removed it. I'm teasing. I was trying to be funny. I'll remove the comments since they came across wrong.

    No, I've never been married.

  • :) Hopefully you'll find the right one someday.

Marriage really is a groovy kind of love if you find the right one that is!!

    ~Love & Peace~

  • HOLY COW! look at that zucchini O_0

  • This is great. (smile) Thank you.

  • Please come to Vancouver. There are great hiking trails here. I would love to meet you guys.

  • I agree please come to Vancouver!

  • thats one big Shlong you got there!!!

  • Dan don't think of those folks as haters.Wrong energy Man.Just think of them as folks with different views. If you only got praise then you wouldn't grow with your own views because you'd think that you are right all the time. When you get a different view count it as a blessing because its makes you think about it and either confirm or modify your own thoughts.Either way you go from strength to strength. If you get "hate"mail from a meat eater have compassion, after all who is luckier. You are.

  • Great answer for the dirty hands theory anyway.

  • Mot, you have some very good points but sometimes people just bring negative energy to a positive atmosphere. It's not the opposing point of view that I would imagine Dan has problems with. He is pretty open minded from what I can see. I have a feeling it's the way people are presenting their opposing views.

You are right that we should try to turn negative energy into an opportunity to spread love.

  • green2lean.for sure sometimes its like you say but the way people present their view and the way you react to them are of equal value.

Sometimes too people present a view in a positive light yet get a negative reaction.

If someone really is being negative or hating you don't have to let it affect you but it is already affecting themselves, have compassion because its unfortunate for them.

  • We all have different personalities. One thing about me is I'm honestly probably the most compassionate and sensitive straight man you'd ever meet but at the same time somehow I have a personality similar to an old testament, eye for an eye avenger. If I see evil being done I tend to want to react with an iron fist. I'm very compassionate for those people that are good.

You're right though. I'm learning to be more that way and turn the other cheek so to speak. It's a higher spiritual level

  • green don't worry I am similar to you .I have my limits.I was refering to talk and negativity but true evil doings are much harder to deal with.I can be the most compassionate to deserving people and also the most inpatient or vengefull person to others.

  • Good stuff you guys!!! :)

  • Great! According to Kabir, Keep your friends close and enemies closer.

  • The Dalai Lama said that he was most gratefull to his "enemies" because they taught him the most .

  • In the words of kabir,

Keep your critiques close to you, let their hut be in your courtyard,

That way you dont need soap n water to cleanse your nature.

  • I like it!

  • EBZ author of that book you have "the essence gospel of pesce" also has some stuff from Kabir. If you don't have it already you might find it interesting.

He was an Indian mystic and poet ."songs of Kabir" is the book that I remember.

  • Wow, that was interesting, You know what, I am always cooking with garlic n onion it seems. So you think im doing something unhealthy? I know they are great for the heart, blood, cancer and for healing.

I havnt been sick since I can remember too.

That dressing for your salad was interesting, I will give this a try! Thank you for sharing, and love & peace to you too brother!!!

  • Garlic and onion have great healing properties. I think as the body becomes more healthy, less is needed and the body will tell you that. It's not so much a matter of it not being healthy as it may not be needed on a regular basis and instead is more of a healer. They can cause indigestion and bad breath so who wants to eat them all the time lol. I love onions though and I love garlic in the right situation. Watch Arnoldsway he says the same thing about garlic and ginger, etc being limited.

  • Hey, a question for you. Do you have a link for the lemon/lime/orange squeezers plse Dan? As it would be cool to have those even if they have to come from the States. Tks and you just keep on trucking. Its all good, very good.

  • Comment removed

  • Its interesting how your body is reacting to the onion/garlic family. Yesterday I ate 2 bars of chocolate and felt ill all day. It was unreal. But a good heads up. The other thing, the haters are just jealous that you have such successful channel on here and that you are truly helping folks. Thats an aspect of Love, helping others. Looking forward to the winter stuff of yours, as its becoming winter here too in England.

  • That's a lot of writing in the info section. Know this please, highly appreciated!

  • Ditto Screenflicker ,Thanks alot to the beautifull one.Krista.

I'd buy one but I have too wait until my Bday next month just incase I get one then.

  • thanks, handsome one moto! ;)

    krista

  • Got it!

  • Dan, you may be the real 'jain' out there. Jains don't eat roots like onions, garlic or potatoes. Jain philosophy is that roots shouldn't be eaten because a living organism is usually uprooted during the harvest. The purpose of these practices is to minimize the harm that may otherwise be caused to livig organisms inadvertently. However, Jains follw this practice because their bible (Jinvani) says so. You're doing it intuitively which may just mean that you're at a higher level of consiousness

  • a beautiful bird landing at my feeder

  • I wish I had all the tools that you got

  • OOOHH, I get to be first. Your video came out just fine with your light set-up.

This looks great - although we are beyond local corn. I will make this for my veggie luncheon. I'm getting a reputation for bringing the best!

I love your new ideas for the direction of the show. If you need a venue near DC. we are 60 miles south, and we have 20 acres. Enough for the RV, or room in the house. You and LLK are welcome, always.

    With love.
