Idiots.... Dooku was still a Jedi at the time that Maul died. Maul died 19 years before Episode 2. Dooku had only been a sith for 15 of those 19 years at most. Sidious NEVER broke the rule of two. Neither did Vader or Tyrannus. Starkiller, Asaaj Ventress, and the other less popular sub-apprentices were all dark jedi... a practitioner of the dark side that is not a member of the sith order. Sidious had an entire organization known as the Secret Order composed solely of dark side users.

@Freeofmind75 Actually Sidious broke the rule of two by using poison to kill his master. Bane clearly says this is acceptable in all things exceopt this, the mantle of Sith Lord MUST be taken by force. It is the fundamental principle of the rule of two, to ensure that each Sith Lord is more powerfull then the last.
