  • How much lift did the soa kit net and how big were the tires? Also what size wheel spacers? Jeep looks great

  • @rangaman86 About 5.5 to 6" of lift using stock YJ leaf springs in front and the original leaf springs in the rear. The tires are 33x12.50R15s and the wheel spacers were .75" thick for a total of 1.5"

  • is it for sale?

  • @312kat1 Yes it is for sale. I just spoke with our customer this morning and he needs to sell the Jeep. He is asking $25,000 obo. The Jeep only has a few hundred miles on it since we put a new Jasper Class 1 engine in it with 50 percent more rear wheel horsepower than stock. Send me an email or call if you're interested, the info is in the video. There are also way more pictures on our website

  • @millerbrothersauto The new updated price is now $20,000 obo. for this Jeep.

  • I love classic jeeps, new Chrysler jeep, however. NO! lol. I want a Jeep to put along side my 4runner!

  • Im a huge sports car guy as my name says. But believe it or not, considering i'm only 14, i have to sell my sports car and considering buying a Jeep, CJ,TJ,or YJ. Any advice on which one i should choose. Pros vs Cons? Im hoping to get 3-5,000 for my car and looking for a project jeep around the 1-2.5k region. Thoughts?

  • @eagletalondsm1995 It really depends on what your purpose is for the Jeep. If it's going to stay on the street, the YJ's and TJ's ride and handle way better than CJ's. If you're looking to spend 1-2.5k, not likely you're going to find a TJ that cheap. If you search high and low you might find a 4cyl YJ or a beat up CJ. It seems that YJ's and TJ's have way more aftermarket parts available for them than CJ's. If you're going offroad, an early to mid 90's YJ with a mild lift would be a start

  • @eagletalondsm1995 an eagle talon isn't a sports car.

  • seems a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for i guess... deffinately one of the cleanest and most professional looking CJ builds ive ever seen...I was wondering, did you guys use a roll on bedliner on the tub or a spray style epoxy?

  • @13raptorman22 Thanks for the kind words. It was difficult handing this one over to our customer. (I didn't want to see it go :-( ) As far as the bedliner is concerned, we had a local body shop professionally spray in Rhino Lining on the inside and outside of the tub. Rhino Lining really worked well on this fiberglass tub (plus adds structural integrity to the tub) and with a little tire shine it looks really sharp .

  • Excellent repair

  • GOOD JOB GUYS

  • needed to sand blast the frame, looks good but not $30k worth

  • @rogerscottburchett1 The frame, skid plate, axles, wheels, and roll cage were all professionally sandblasted and then the frame, skid plate, wheels, and roll cage were all professionally powdercoated. The tub, fenders, grill, and hood were professionally painted and Rhino Lined. As far as the value, nearly everything on this Jeep has been upgraded to something better than when it rolled off the assembly line and quality products don't come cheap, nor does the time to carefully put it together.

  • needed to sand blast the frame,

  • very nice job my friend! lov the ole cjs mines an 82 looks like that one now, now i dont want to get it dirty.................lol

  • im planing on starting to build a 5 soon, but i only have about 5K but thats about all i 15 year old can afford lol.

  • @theDENNISw22 5k should give you a great start. Just keep driving it and upgrading as your budget allows and get used to the idea that you'll never be done upgrading as long as you own a Jeep. Enjoy!

  • @millerbrothersauto yeah i know jeeps are the best and i cant wait till summer so i can start on building one.

  • excellent job!!!!

  • Nice job! Very Beautiful!

  • where can i get good parts for 1979 cj5 lots of parts rusted out to the point of where we have to look for new parts and cant find anything for the jeep any place you know of.

  • @chevys10lord There are quite a few suppliers of Jeep parts - Four Wheel Drive Hardware and Quadratec are a couple of the big players.

  • @millerbrothersauto thank you

  • Jeep looks great!Your shop def. looks to be top notch...What was the build cost est.?

  • @chadness9 This build cost a little over $30k which includes a new Jasper Class 1 engine.

  • Nice job on the vid Aaron. I feel like I'm becoming obsolete!

    Way to go, Bro
