Tim's passing is heartbreaking, all the terrible fathers out there and he dies? Why could'nt Dick Cheney -or Rush Limbaugh die man? Something does'nt seem right, this is 2008, nobody with top notch docs dies like this.
There's always that one breaking news story that is so shocking and surreal, no matter how many times you hear the headline, it just doesn't seem real. This is absolutely one of those times. An election coverage program without Tim Russert. It just doesn't seem POSSIBLE.
He was a real man who stayed close to his roots, family, Irish Catholic, Buffalo. I hope he inspires many to get closer to their fathers and be better fathers... this country needs that more than anything.
When you watched him, you knew he could be a construction worker, cab driver, lawyer or teacher, you know he would give the job highest respect and never look down on those under him or loathe those above. He was an example of fatherhood, for those who didn't know theirs and for their kids.
still seems unreal that he's gone. God bless his family.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
They had to say he collapsed
they had to give the cover story
they cant tell you they had to remove him
they cant tell you they used modern technology that is unregulated has no laws prohibiting its use
technology capable of stoping someones heart using radio frequencies

I always loved Russert. He was such a "real" person and great family man. I'm a 50 year old man and I almost teared up when I heard the news... RIP
