I had the opportunity to watch this pair work about 7 or 8 years ago in NE Texas. I was working the day shift in a bar / pool hall when the older man came in and asked me about money games. Later I was lucky enough to be one of the few people allowed in to view the action at a tiny local pub where money games were common. It was really fun to watch them work. After taking a few thousand off some very good local players they made a late night Taco Bell run and never came back.

I was lucky enough to see Willie Mosconi & Fats play at a Scott Air Force base pool hall. Fats never stopped complaining about the table. Mosconi outshot him but there was no money on the table & I got the sence that made the difference with Fats.

Neither was the best I ever saw. That would be a heavily tattooed danger man called Sugar. He will take all your money, guaranteed.

Kid Del. has perhaps the worst presents in the pool table that any opponent could ever get to... period. I mean, the man takes fucking 3 minutes just for one shot (almost literately). Nevertheless, I hear that when you socialize with Basavich that he's the shit. But now, he's not that great of a player that he was a couple of years back due to an illness that he's just recovering.
