I think she needs some matters to dream, and to make us to dream: the first song is not so much researched, looks like done in colaboration with a psy-profiler (just enough good for the psy-profiler :-) But the seconde song: for that one she has twisted her brain to draw out the suck, oh woman is good.

@Motosadik There's a reason why it's playback - the entire concert was a playback TV promo gig. Each band had 10 minutes on stage to perform two songs... and a minute of turnover time (the next band were going on as Shirley got interviewed). Garbage takes 3 hours to set up a proper live show so there was no choice.
