Okay in the Arab world, it is very common for such things to happen especially in the Gulf countries. Iraq, at MOST, has a rate of 33% cousin marriage, but that isn't too bad and also the percentage is going down.
I think it also depends on which region of the country it is, I would imagine that the south has more arranged marriages and first cousin marriages than the Central or North, because it is more conservative and religious.

Okay in the Arab world, it is very common for such things to happen especially in the Gulf countries. Iraq, at MOST, has a rate of 33% cousin marriage, but that isn't too bad and also the percentage is going down.
I think it also depends on which region of the country it is, I would imagine that the south has more arranged marriages and first cousin marriages than the Central or North, because it is more conservative and religious.
