thank you for pointing that out. We have fixed it. That's the second time that has happened this year, were not sure how the html is getting in some of the pages. In appreciation please contact us if you'd like a free decal of your choice.
GOD now that I finally have one.. I can't ride it because I'm in Iraq, and when I get home it'll be COLD! I'm moving out of Michigan... Thanks for the upload!
Lost it? When, coming into the driveway? I believe he was attempting to spin the tire but didn't end up doing it, because 1 hes not used to the bike, 2 its not his.
Hey man, I'm 6'3 and I weigh about 240 pounds, I'd love to get this bike, do you think I'm too big for it? Also, I have a wonderful girlfriend who I'd love to bring along with me for some rides occasionaly , do you think this bike is too small for my weight/height? Or do you think that it would be fine, even with the lady on the back? Thanks bro, any help would be highly appreciated!!
I looked all over the web to find out what the bike can handle for passenger weight. But i couldn't fond any info. I think you should be fine with this bike. I've seen a guy bigger than you riding on a Kawasaki ZX6R. But he did make the bike look like one of those pocket bikes. lol
Alright thx i kinda lyk the honda more bcuzz they are known for their good products. and i lyk the way this one looks compared to the sv... and actually ive seen at numerous places say that the honda is a better bike so i guess im goin to go with the honda thx. and im lookin at a 2006 version but i dont lyk the seat... any way i can change that... thx again
I havnt riden a sv650s so i couldnt really tell you. Just do some research on the bike you have in mind and see what best fits your needs. Like i have said above.. I think the the F4i is a great started bike. Its not crazy powerful, but it does keep up with the 1000's. Its also good for wheelies etc etc. From what I have seen, it seems that the F4i is teh prefered stunt bike by pro's. Now im not saying do go doing stunts (well atlest not rite away lol) Good luck! Ride safe!
Nope, No drop yet lol. Its a great first bike! Just started practicing wheelies on it too. The bike now has a new undertail. and flush mount front blinkers. Thats about it for cosmetic stuff. Oh and frame sliders, just incase i do drop it it wont cause a lot of damage.
Great bike! This is my first bike also (thats my father riding it in this video)
I have riden it a few times myself, ive only had it for 2 weeks, But its a perfect beginner bike, Its not too powerfull and not too weak. Its also not super heavy. CBR's are the number one import bike on the market (from what i have read)
I rode the bike for about 6 hours today. Bike feels fine to me. Then again this is my first bike so other bikes could feel a little better than this one.
Cool. One more question if I could. What year is your bike? I found an 06'. It seemed comfortable when I took it for a ride around the dealer lot. It was quick too.
Mine is a 99 CBR F4 with 01-03 F4i body panels and seat. (I wrote F4i in the title so that i didnt have to hear people tell me its not a F4) The 06 is great! My friend has one, just went riding with him today. Nothing beats having fuel injection! Been having issues with my carburated bike stallin on me today. Might be a bad fuel filter, or a carb issue. I dont know yet. I paid $3350 for this bike, wish i saved for a newer one.
im seriously thinking of gettin this as my first bike? would you recommend it? and how is the seating position for beginner riders? not to sporty? and one more question how long can you ride on this bike before your wrists, back and neck start to ache?? thanks a lot
yes i recomend this bike for beginners. A lot of people suggest getting a 250CC bike to start with. But i always see them getting sold after a month, so dont waste your money.
The seating position is fine, if you want to be more upright, just put the clip-ons on top of the tree rather than below. It usually takes me about an hour of riding constantly before my hand starts feeling numb, or my neck starts to hurt. But this only happens on the highway for me.

sv650s for sure over the 600; you don't need to go 150; if you want acceleration ....the 650 has it; great starter bike

How is it comfort wise? Is it a ride for an hour bike or could you get on and off it all day?
