I remember seeing the original cast of Saturday's Warriors on stage in '77 in Oakland, Ca. I went with a group of friends from church. Truly one of the best musicals that I have eveer see. Later saw Open any Door and Thread's of Glory. Some of Lex's great musical works.
@katiedidcrasher10 that's so sad. I found it in my library when I was 5 and would borrow it atleast once a month and watch it over and over. When I was 16 my mom gave it to me for Christmas and I still pull it out and watch it every so often
I have to say that I saw this movie when I was 14 years old. I am not a practicing LDS, but the message in this movie is so powerful I love it. This song is my favorite from the movie. I am so glad that you posted it.
I played one of Mack's friends back in 1987 in Westbrook, Maine. The most fun I ever had in my life. This is my favorite song from the play, but I totally like the original soundtrack version better, although is done beautifully also.
@KevinGarrett3 thanks so much for the info! I should really check that out! my brother has a copy of the millennium edition but i want a copy of my own!

Predestination just means God knew what we were going to do before we did it, silly.

Yes, that is too bad :)

too bad I am not mormon anymore I believe in pretestination now-Calvinism,
mistressmayhem45 2 years ago
Predestination? Hmmm...
You do realize that if Calivinism is true, then God MADE Satan fall, and all of the resulting evil, right?
Not to mention the Fall of Adam.
Neither Adam, Eve, nor even Satan (or the Serpent) had a choice in the matter.

It's been years since I've heard these songs, and it feels like it's been even longer. Gives me chills. *smiles*

I miss watching "Saturday's Warrior", which I always pretend is G-rated.
