When that crazy action is encouraged and nurtured by a religion, and is practiced world-wide by large numbers of members of that religion, it most certainly IS indicative of that religion.
@KafirAlalazoo I dont know if you were paying attention to the video but Zuhdi explains how its not the religion that's encouraging or nurturing this behavior but the tribal, medieval mentality of people from a region that has a large illiteracy rate.
@delgadohoss I was paying attention (I POSTED it) and I utterly reject that view.
Many (if not most) terrorists have been the product of middle-class and wealthy families, well educated and exposed to western culture and ideals they reject based on Islamic ideals. This is the case with bin Laden, al-Zawahiri, Mohamed Atta, the 7/7 bombers in the U.K.... the list goes on and on, and goes all the way back to Sayyid Qutb and the founders of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood.
@IInformYou Well, it was indicative to the Christian community some centuries ago. When right-minded Christians spoke out against such things, they too (like Dr. Jasser has been) was attacked by people like you for what he has talked about. Today if a Christian does something crazy, it would just be on him, because apolitical liberalized Christianity is now dominant. It won't be until men and women like Jasser and many others can successfully liberalize Islam that Isalmists will truly loners.
Sadly, we are going to be seeing more of this in the US.
I take issue with the assertion that honor-killings are "pre-Islamic" i.e. not related to Islam. This is an issue that is almost exclusively indemic to Islamic societies.
It all stems from the fundamental disrespect of women in Islam, and burden of making them carry the entire honor of the family in their genitals and moral behavior. I do support his call to reform Islam and speak out.

So, when a man does something crazy, and happens to be Christian, that is indicative of the Christian community?
Really now, this is bullshit.
