I love this version of Anyone Who Had A Heart. Cilla was number 1 and sold a million; and I love her version. Marta Kubisova is someone I would have loved to heard more in the 60s. What a pity we didn't get to hear her in the UK.

@kkenet6207 Milý pane, já tady píšu hlavně o době 60. let, resp. do roku 1971, to byla Helena trapným stínem Marty, nedokonalým křovím a učenkou (i v době Golden Kids). To že Martě komunisti zakázali vystupovat, protože mluvila a zpívala pravdu, zatímco Helena si za Husáka užívala výsluní, to už je věc jiná. Marta musela 20 let fyzicky pracovat a živořit, proto teď těžko může chodit jako modelka a vyprodávat koncertní sály. Heleně jde jen a jen o prachy, morálka na nule, to tady ví celý národ.

Croatian singer Ana Štefok also sang "Anyone who had a heart" in Cratian language. This was in the sixties.

This song is such a masterpiece, that no self-respected female singer could resist not to record it.

I know versions from D. Warwick, D. Springdield, Petula Clark, Cilla Black and the Italian super-star Mina, among many others.

There should be a voting, which version is the best.

Marta Kubišová is more than excellent in this version of the powerful song. I like it perhaps more than the original version by Dionne Warwick (which is great, too). Also the Czech lyrics is well fitting this masterpiece of Burt Bacharach. Around 1967, Marta Kubišová had everything to be a world star, if her talent and beauty would not be forced to live hidden under Iron Curtain...

Having been born in fifties,I grew up with Cilla's version....This one was very good...I mean ,look at the costumes and everything and her great voice....This was a great treat !!!! Cilla Black is an excellent singer- on original material that was written for her.  She doesn't cover songs well 'cause she tends to get hung up on the style of the original singer and loses her confidence.

I am only now viewing this singer for the first time, and she is(was) great. But having grown up in the US under the shadow of Dionne Warwick's single, I of course prefer hers to both Marta and Cilla. Having said that, what an incrediblew song!
