@Forevirknight I'm not EXACTLY sure, I'm sure if you look around a mission or two you might find one. I'm gonna take a stab in the dark and say that MAYBE shell+protect in materia fusion makes it. Not entirely sure though.

@RVJar Personally the remakes of 1 and 2 really quite sucked, but thats just me. the 1st one included no real tutorial and ended up with me sailing around the world and entering new towns to see if that was where the story continued xD. I havent tried FF2 but i read a review several months ago. it was an ok game.

I would definitely recommend this game, one of my favourites in the series

Well, Leveling is a slow way. But when i was telling you to fuse your materia, that's how. There's a way to fuse your materia to slowly increase the stat boost it gives you. Just look in my video here when i show my materia. My mug abilities gives me +430% hp. my aerial drain gives me +49 atk. I used materia fusion to do it. But in order for me to figure out how to do it, i just experimented.

Just get your atk stat up and maybe some health. Regardless, you'll beat him sometime. =D

Whats the best materia spell i could use. I dont have costly punch or whatever its called. Its really hard to kill him and those things that he spawns keep killing me. Blizzaga is the best spell i used it does 5000 on him for me. I think that Firaga will work well. What level are you by the way?

I was able to beat the guy without costly punch, i just wanted to keep it in the 10 minute range. I'm level 52, all of my stats and everything are in the video.

Just find spells that you like personally, and you can make all spells give you a stat boost. I was able to keep building up the health boost on my materia, that's why i have a lot of health.

You do this through materia fusion. Like i said, just fiddle around with it. There's nothing i can really tell you to do right up step by step.

Well, this game is more about stats than level. Fiddle around with your materia fusion to see if you can get the stats boost on your materia to go up. That's all i can really say.

if you use materia fusion right, you can give your materia bonuses. i have alot of health due to having like 1110% increased on my health. I due alot of dmg cause i have +104 attack.

dang, that's a hard one, i can't remember exactly what i had or anything. basically, to beat him you just need to have enough health and/or defense to survive his special attack, now, like most bosses, you're gonna wanna hit him from behind for some critical hits, just watch out, his tail flicks out a deadly lightning attack. it hurts. you can dodge it i believe. just make sure you keep your health up and keep attacking him. He was the only boss i had trouble with on the japanese version.

oh i beated him before you got the chance to reply back. i just leveled up to 20 and got some materia to raise my HP. i hit him in the back and like roll away from his lightning tail.

Oh people having problem with that angeal monster? :O I beat him easy. :D But I think it's because I did so many missions during the gameplay and made my zack stronger but... yeah. :D I quess it's hard if you played the story only :D Don't exactly remember how much did I do damage by then I quess I did about 5500's maybe? you need to get the item called "adaman bangle". you get it from a mission. i can't remember which one, there's a faq on gamefaqs in which you can check though. just use ctrl+f to help you find what your looking for inside the faq

you have to kill those weird things in the room just off the path towards the room where you put the materia in the sockets. if i could remember the name of it i'd say it. but anyways, it's a room with water all over the floor and beams of light coming from the ceiling. go to the beams of light, i believe there's an order you have to face them or certain tasks your must do before you can face certain ones, i'm not entirely sure, i just managed to beat them all, and a path opens up to another...

place and just fight enemies regularly in there, don't avoid them, the enemies drop keys so you can get further in, somewhere in there you can get to key to the behemoth, if memory serves me correct. As for costly punch, check a gamefaqs page that tells you which missions you can get certain things. i believe you either get costly punch as a reward in a mission,get it in a chest in a mission, or both. i also believe there are two materia you can fuse to get it.

as far as i know, you keep everything except the ability to use materia fusion, and to equip 6 materia and 4 accessories because they are all events in the game. so i would need to choose 4 materia out of what i have for my next file. they will all be carried over, it's just ill have to choose which ones i wanna wear at once.

not very long at all, but i wont be able to give u an actual date. took me longer for the english one cause i didnt play it as much and i was doin alot of missions. but i beat the japanese version back in september and it took me no time at all, but even tho that version has no hard mode, it was still pretty hard because i couldn't read japanese so i just assumed that the stats were in a certain order and stuff.

im usin a cso. plus, im using the remotejoy easy gui. just put IRshell 3.7 (that specefic version of IRshell) on your psp and run the easy gui, then shooce usbhostfs, and voila! u got a non-crashing romotejoy, u just gotta go to the game in irshell is all.
