  • Wow! that was really good :) you have a lovely distance :D

Hehe, sorry for my bad english ^^

  • @AliceLinnea100 Thank you for your comment, your english is great!

  • niceee

  • Your axel is huge !! I have mine consistent now, but I'm scared to jump after a recent bad fall..so I either fall or just barely get off the ice ! Any tips to make it as beautiful as yours ?

  • @andrea99056284 you have to keep at it. Years back I had a bad fall on my tailbone, and couldn't jump for weeks, and just had to keep practicing to get it back. Good luck!

  • you get sooo mush height and distance on oyur axel.. its amazing... they are just a little slopy though.. but tht will be fixed with time

  • Thanks for posting this--I am THISCLOSE to landing that confounded jump, and I am so happy people like you post progression videos like this one. Maybe I'll post mine once I get there!

  • You have a very nice flow out of the axel. Geez, maybe someday I'll land one...

  • Wow amazing! Any tips on landing my axel? I started about a month ago and I cant seem to land it, I can only do one turn in the air and I have difficulty Getting my legs in the right position.

  • Sadly, the axel will take MUCH longer than a month, it took me 6 months to get my axel, it's one of the hardest jumps, but don't get discouraged. Your double salchow and doubl toe will come very soon after you land an axel, when I landed my axel, only 3 months later I landed ALL of my double jumps! what I did to land my axel is I tried flicking my hips when I was in the air, you will get more rotation! try doing an axel back scratch spin, you will have your axel in no time!

  • i hear you my axel took me 6-8 months to land :(

  • yes. definetly jumping a little more up than across.

  • oui, you are pretty good

  • Luv it! But can i give a tip? try jumping more up than across the ice! :)

  • Great advice, and probably the most advice that gets thrown around the most, atleast we know its true =)

  • These are lovely. There's no stopping on the toe, bending way forward, then trying to jump. It's amazing, and pretty. You've got great flow in and out. Competition footage shows you can execute it under pressure also. LOVE THIS!!!!!

  • Wow your amazing. Im working on mine and i either have it cheated 1/2 two footed and stand up or get it pretty much fully rotated but fall. =( tips? You have a beautiful axel. Its really high and you just jump really far. How long exactly did it take you to land? And how old are you? Your my new inspiration! =/

  • Hey thanks. The real trick is getting the rotation over the right side, and it does take lots of practise. Between starting on the Axel (when I was 22) and the first one landed, it was about 1 year... but much longer to get it consistent!

  • hi...yea you seen me before!!!i'm condrey's ex gf.....anyway i love watching u skate.....hope to see you when i'm down4 competition end of this year!!!!

  • haha, thanks! see you later this year!

  • oh...then i know who are you...you might not know me but i seen you before!!!i;m lilian from pyramid ice!!!(used to be)i was like wow i think i know you....hehe!!!

  • hi lillian, i think i've seen you before! :-)

  • hey are you from Fuji Ice? sgpore?

  • yep!

  • love your axels, so pretty!!! but I think that your skating leg needs to be straighter on the spiral sequence. but still, your spirals are really high *wistful sigh*

  • thanks! i was actually thinking my landing leg needs to be straighter in the air on the Axel! LOL... Will work on those spirals ;-)

  • Wow that's awesome, I dream of doing an axel like that one day!

  • I'm sure you will soon! :-)
