@FuckinHolidaZe For fading, you can use Suede Renew spray for a permanent result. It's basically a suede dye that comes in spray format. For the bottom, take out rocks or particles from crevices with a toothpick or small utencil. Then, lightly scrub the area with soap using an old toothbrush. Slightly tilt the shoe, with bottom facing downwards, and rinse with warm water while scrubbing the sole. Try NOT to let much water fall on the upper. Then wipe off excess water with cloth.
@FuckinHolidaZe If the creasing isn't too bad, leave it as is because the De-creasing process is long and difficult and doesn't always give good results. If you still want to go through with it, I posted a small/quick guide as a reply to a comment a user made below. You can also search it up here on Youtube. Good luck!
@NautiBoiAngelo I have seen & heard of people using the decreasing method on suede shoes. I don't recommend it, but here's how to do it. First, you will have to stuff the toes of the shoes with plastic bags and shape it so that the toe is flat. You will then apply a slightly wet cloth over the suede and apply an iron over that for a few seconds. It takes many applications before you can achieve good results. Make sure the suede is wet and don't let it dry during the process.
@MrDarkstar0109 oh okay thanks btw does this method from the video work with nubuck cause the metallic 5's from 2011 are nubuck so i want to make sure
@vivi56471 here's a response I made to another user: apply some talcum powder to the area where the baby oil is and leave it over night. The powder will suck up a lot of the oil. Then remove the residue and brush the suede with a shoe brush. If it's still too dark, repeat the process. Good luck.
There are black spots on my Raging Bull 5s. I am not sure if it is dirt, or what, i have no clue. But it is just black in areas. Is this method going to clean the black of and make it red, i mean what do i do to remove the black spots and make it red again? thank you.
@JayJayTheJumpman Sorry for the late response. No, baby oil is only to moisturize faded and stiff suede. To clean the suede, you can use the Lincoln EZ Cleaner solution. Take a look at my other video because I demonstrate how to use this solution and its results. Good luck and feel free to inbox me for further assistance!
I did this technuiqe with my burgandy 5 and the color looks too dark due to me putting too much oil. Is there anything i could do to make it lighter, or to redo it.
@JAyxEff apply some talcum powder to the area where the baby oil is and leave it over night. The powder will suck up a lot of the oil. Then remove the residue and brush the suede with a shoe brush. If it's still too dark, repeat the process. Good luck.
@MegaRamille Baby oil will darken light suedes and colored suede might appear darker than you expect. Also, baby oil works more for moisturizing dry suede. I suggest you use a Suede Dye or Suede Renew spray if you are looking for a more permanent solution to restoring faded color on suede. It is up to you what you want to do. Good luck and inbox me if you need further assistance.
@MrDarkstar0109 im restoring the suede cause it got hard, but its not faded, cant seem to find suede moisturizer in stores so im thinking use baby oil cause my suede are fukin stiiff ty!
try cleaning them with a Shoe Cleaner... The Lincoln EZ Cleaner product works well on ALL materials! The material seems to be canvas. The solution to this fading is to dye that section. For this, you can use a Fabric Marker. Google it as there are many brands. Try to find Fabric Markers that allow you to apply it without having to use an iron afterwards! If you want, take some pictures and send me a link to them at my Youtube inbox. Good luck and come back if you need further assistance!
@FadedStings Sorry for the late response. Yes this will work, BUT let me suggest other methods/items that can assist you better and give you a permanent result. First off is Suede Dye. It is applied manually and consists of you applying the dye directly with a small sponge. Second is the Suede Renew spray. This is applied from a spray can and you basically spray over the area that needs to be dyed. Research your options and feel free to return for further assistance. Good luck!
@mryungjizzle100 If you speak of the red ones, then not really. Baby oil will darken the suede a bit. I suggest using a Suede Dye or Suede Renew spray. It will give you a more permanent outcome.
Did it make the suede softer? Cuss my friend just sold me a couple of janoskis and he told me he cleaned the suede and I asked how and he wouldn't tell me. And the suede was softer than before
@JordanbeterdenLebron you can use the Lincoln EZ Cleaner to clean up the suede. Baby oil will help moisturize suede that has gone stiff. It will get a bit softer.
@djilandavis yes. works best with dark-toned suede, BUT, it is only a temporary solution. For a more permanent result, use either Suede Dye or Suede Renew spray.
@TK4381 well, you might get a darker result than you are looking for. But, it should definitely work TEMPORARILY. BTW, try cleaning the shoe thoroughly with a Suede Cleaner, it might help bring back some luster on the suede. If you are looking for a permanent result, try the Suede Renew spray.
@MrDarkstar0109 but remember that it should be applied in very small quantities (about 1 drop per section). Also, this works better on dark-colored suede. Light colored suede might darken considerably! Good luck!
@TIMMIAY Sorry to hear. You can clean it off with suede cleaners like Lincoln EZ Cleaner. The baby oil is to moisturize the suede. You don't have to apply so much, only about a drop per section. Its also best to cover the whole section instead of just applying it to a small spot.
@049Jordan I have mentioned it in the video and the info box above that it works best on dark-colored suede. You can clean it off with some suede cleaner like Lincoln EZ Cleaner.
@049Jordan Unfortunately, scratches on suede can't be fixed. You can try and cover it up by using a Suede Renew spray or Suede Dte. But to do this, you will need to remove the baby oil off.

@austoo213woodfam like i said before, try thoroughly cleaning them. Baby Oil wont really do these any justice. If the color is faded, i suggest u dye it with Suede Dye.

@512crazyman I don't suggest applying baby oil to light colored suede because it darkens it up a lot. You can try Suede Renewer. Just Google the product and make sure you are looking at it on a legit site! Good luck

Will it work on Wolf greys that has a lighter color?
TheDiddyPoof 8 months ago
@TheDiddyPoof It'll darken it way too much! I suggest cleaning it thoroughly with Lincoln EZ Cleaner.
MrDarkstar0109 8 months ago

Red ones.
austoo213woodfam 8 months ago
@austoo213woodfam like i said before, try thoroughly cleaning them. Baby Oil wont really do these any justice. If the color is faded, i suggest u dye it with Suede Dye.

What about light grey?
512crazyman 9 months ago
@512crazyman I don't suggest applying baby oil to light colored suede because it darkens it up a lot. You can try Suede Renewer. Just Google the product and make sure you are looking at it on a legit site! Good luck

MrBrianC21 1 year ago
i clean my suede shoes off with jason markk and then i use black shoe polish (the liquid ones) it works great, and shoes look brand new. if u wanna remove the creases, then use the ironing method.
