MTA anymore.

@beannapper Bee-Line (Westchester's transit system, operated by a private operator) accepts MetroCards with the same fares as the MTA.

@ih8thyssenkrupp oh and so does PATH and the roosevelt island tramway. PATH doesn't have the same fares as the MTA though. if Nassau accepts MetroCard and keeps the same fares you should still get a free transfer to NYCT/MTAB in Queens or at Green Acres

You need to get of Long Island. You can rest assured that when Ed Mangano get's voted out, the Republican Party will never support him again. The exact same thing goes for the Democrat Andrew Cuomo. Your right, the solution to this dilemma is a Libertarian styled third party. May I suggest the name "The Libertarians".

Some bus drivers should be forced to work for less. Such as the driver of the MTA Mini-Bus that decided to make a left turn off of Peninsula Blvd ( the only problem is that this particular bus driver was in the right most lane and had to stop the behemoth of a vehicle about 5 feet from a green lit intersection and cut across the other unimpeded left lane of traffic ).
To that bus driver I tip my hat and crown you Long Island's worst driver of the week.
