@TheNoobformers: Your starters in the game are Espeon and Umbreon, both. Later you'll be able to catch other pokémon, including many starters in their evolved form (Bayleaf, Croconaw etc), and maybe other forms. It's not like any gameboy game, though it is an RPG.

@Chowder908 Directx End Users Runtime from microsoft. You can google "latest directx from microsoft". It is released in June 2010. Install it. Then you can start Dolphin normally

@Chowder908 Just be friend is enough! Google the word " directx end users runtime". It should appear as the first found page. The version of this directx should be 9.29.1962, released on 06/08/10.

a bad pc,

and he's recording, with takes the speed from the PC.

my emulation is very slow i have the version "SVN R 4771" of Dolphin and my emulated games run very slow and my pc's ADM Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 300+, 1,80 GHz , 1,00 GB Ram

because your PC can't handle the emulator. Get at least 2GB ram and Dual Core processor speed of over 2.00Ghz. Only 1GB and 1.80Ghz is way too slow for this emulator. Also what video card you have?

Youcan play it by using Shadow the Hedgehog. But it's hard and doesn't work on all emulators. Not even on those it should work on!

I have the same problem as DeathBorn2048, I'm trying to emulate the wind waker, and all I get to start the game is yellow, followed by light blue. The music is working and I'm running SVN R 3661. I tried using real xfb but now when I run the game, it hangs and eventually I get the dreaded: Dolphin has encountered a problem and has to close, would you like to send an error report? For this being a third gen pokemon game you have way too many 2nd gen pokemon

Also, just read the bottom of this forum. Go to his NEW account to download the systems. If you DONT have at least 2 GB of ram (1 for the game, the rest for other memory), then I guess your out of luck (or it'll be slow.) Buy more memory, a computer with more than that memory, or just buy a gaming system. '_'

One more thing... If your computer read "failed to grab 'x' GB of memory", that means the game failed to grab that amount of Memory... the memory is the amount that the game had in it's file... from the RAM, and you'll need to buy new RAM or just buy a new computer or a gaming system. it's really quite simple (Cause I'm going through the same problem)

well with 1gb of ram its not that fast soooo yea. you just have to make sure that the config setup is good. also if you dont have a dual core processor then it going to be slow no matter what.
