@supermunyi why? isnt that how you expand your knowledge of sampling and beat making if you cant work out between you and the homies what it is? your a lame. for all you that want to know its nina simone cant see nobody. shit like that shouldnt be esoteric
its really weird listenin to this for me, because i've not felt this good way about hip hop since i began listenin to it like 9 years ago....im 19 n from scotland so 10 was a relatively young age to get into hip hop here....and i know alot about it from Wu-Tang to KRS One etcc
damn. dope. his style on this song is kinda like nas. aint nowhere near as good as nas cuz nas is the dopest of all time but he comes hard n paints a picture of the hood.
@homer422 oh. i didn't say he duzn't have potential. I got Boy Meets World. It's pretty nice. but admiral was sayin that fashawn is nicer than Nas n i just don't agree. N i DOUBT that even Fashawn whos good was MUCH better than Nas at Rock The Bells '09.
@559BULLDOGG they probably talking about "fity cent" because he made a song called 50 bars of Pain I think back in the day before he was with Aftermath, with the same sample as this song. One of the best songs 50 ever made.
@559BULLDOGG back when 50 could still rap before he got shot he rapped on a beat similiar to this one...50's versions as actually good, and the beat was a lil smoother
This is prob my fav track because of the more aggresive sound.his lyrics are all dope but my only prob with under ground hip hop is the sound kills me .I know people think a polished sound equals commercial..but there's nothing wrong with clarity in the sound..beats are good ..but need better enginering and mastering...sorry for the essay..but I'm a sound man..
@559BULLDOGG i agree with you, if we talk about overall underground hip hop. but if Exile is the producer, you must be wrong. Exile, one of the best producers in the game, chose to sound it unclean and dirty (in my opinion). Which makes the lyrics and the overall theme of the song fitting it better, and rather impress the listener more. Its a nina simone sample, he could have gotten it cd and better quality, but he chose to take the sample of a vinyl and chop it up with his mpc.
@559BULLDOGG yeah but youtube isn't the best place to seek for/complain about sound quality. I swear you'll find out the sound is OK as soon as you listen to the CD. Youtube songs are not CD quality. and making the record sound like it's straight from the cassette is sometimes actually done on purpose , bear that in mind .
@przewrocony456 i know, i have the cd. i got it as soon as was released. i support my hometown artists. i understand the effect they are goin for, but personaly i like the more polished sound.
@MOJOalien13 why u wanna know the sample?...its not goin to be better than this beat...these producers always take the best part of old records and reuse them to make dopeness like exile does
Fashawn, Kendrick, Cole, K.R.I.T. PERIOD

well i can't say that i saw it but even if, u cant compare Nas in his prime to fashawn. Nas is arguably the greatest to ever spit.
