nice vid.... we are not doing spices right now as we experimetn with 80-10-10 but we miss them. time will tell what the perfect diet for our own bodies will be :) much love, hope you are enjoying your beautiful new little one :)
In order to have a healthy spleen, you need heat in your food. Especially in the winter. Spices add heat. People on the Raw Food diet have a tendency to have a problem with the spleen. So some cooked (grains and or beans) or warmed food and warming spices are good. In some cases spices may not be enough. Please research this out anyone who is on raw food. I fluctuate 80-100% raw . Depending on the time of year.
another nice video :) thanks! i am very sensitive to spices, but i have heard other raw foodists use things like cayenne almost religiously! they say it's fantastic for digestion and circulation. lou corona always uses cayenne in his juices. definitely not kid friendly though!!!
It took me a long time to try curry powder simply because I didnt really know of it. If you get a good jar or make a mix of various jars, its really a nice spice in soups, etc.

@VonLeachim you can dry them easily in a dehydrator :) very simple to do. just dice them/mince them and dehydrate for a couple of days at low temps.
a great seed bank is baker creek seeds. check out their website. all organic and heirlooms :)
