Love this trailer because of the rabbit, that was the first trailer I saw of Donnie darko and it gave me nighmares! That rabbit creeps me out lol.... When I watch this trailer instead of watching the new movie I watched Donnie darko, the original.

Darko, on the other hand, was a nightmare. Put two really stupid girls in the desert, have them run around for a bit in a town of crazies, enjoy a meteor shower, and roll the credits. Also, D.Darko music, incredible, S.Darko music :(

Absolutely rediculous! They should NOT have killed Donnie at the end of the film! Although it did make the story more dramatic but I think if they wanted to continue the Donnie Darko Tales then "Donnie" would obviously play a big part in it. Jake Gylenhaal was priceless at the role! I literally balled when Donnie died for the life of Grechen who would never even know him because of timetravel. And honestly in my experience I would NOT watch s. Darko because of Donnie's death.

I just saw the second one. It's probably the worst movie i've ever seen in my entire life, possibly outclassed by Saw 101 (or whatever there on now) While the original was poetic, interesting and really powerful, this was dull, poorly performed and the story-line was absolutely shocking. Watch only, if you have a metal rabbit mask fetish or are attracted to immensely terrible films. To sum this film up, id say shit pasted onto a disk would justify it pretty well.

Donnie Darko is a paradox. the only real thing that happened was an engin fell on the house killing Donnie. The fact of the matter is the last 28 days never happened.
So how can S. Darko actually going to see frank's doppelganger?
So now you see Samantha practicing for her dance recital listening to the bitch of a dance instructor?
You can tell this movie is going to be shit, you cant mess with perfection. sometimes you have to leave well enough alone.

@MagikPoo a verry good observation, the fact the 28 days never happened this shouldnt be possible. Im just saying i agree 100 %. I still want too see it, my mind is boggled, and im left in confusion in how they will make this possible. But Donnie Darko most likely would of been best left alone.

I dont think he remembered it, it's just that he felt very weird because he wasn't dead. All the people he had interacted with and changed through the movie had the same thing going on

makes sense but to me Frank seemed to have a supernatural power, the fact that he was able to talk to Donnie from the dead (and future) kind of shows he had some power like Donnie's, or just a Supernatural bond something like that..

Absolutely rediculous! They should NOT have killed Donnie at the end of the film! Although it did make the story more dramatic but I think if they wanted to continue the Donnie Darko Tales then "Donnie" would obviously play a big part in it. Jake Gylenhaal was priceless at the role! I literally balled when Donnie died for the life of Grechen who would never even know him because of timetravel. And honestly in my experience I would NOT watch s. Darko because of Donnie's death.

Actually the guy who wrote/directed Donnie Darko didn't want to continue the series and he really didn't want this movie to be made. It was the studio that made it, and it was stupid that they did it.

donnie darko, very amazing and incredible movie. Nothing like it. The sequel, i know people are ganna watch it anyway, but in my opinion, it sucks. It sucks very very very badly. Nothing like the first one. Actually it pretty much has nothing to do with the first one(mainly why it sucks)

i haven't seen this yet but it looks crap and i actually found out it's not the same director from the first film cos he didn't want to make a sequel so some other stupid guy decided to do it instead but it just generally makes me angry that they'd even think to make a sequel. if i ever watch this i'm just going to pretend it's completely unrelated to the first one cos sequels always ruin amazing films

the director of the first one wrote this one so he had a huge hand in making it but i agree with you, being that its straight to dvd, specially compared to how epic dd is, this movie just is a huge waste of time.

I just saw the second one. It's probably the worst movie i've ever seen in my entire life, possibly outclassed by Saw 101 (or whatever there on now) While the original was poetic, interesting and really powerful, this was dull, poorly performed and the story-line was absolutely shocking. Watch only, if you have a metal rabbit mask fetish or are attracted to immensely terrible films. To sum this film up, id say shit pasted onto a disk would justify it pretty well.

watched it last night. Fail from top to bottom. Waste of your time if your expecting anything remotely close to the original. Over/Under acted by a terrible cast. Music and sound was disaterously misplaced.
