In ancient times, India WAS the world. When there was no human beings all around the world, Indians lived a rich, comforable, luxurious and spiritual life. Indians had everything - culture, money, morales, liberation etc..etc.
Only recently (in the past 350 years or so), India was invaded ruthlessly by 100,000 poms who ruled 300,000,000 indians. Yet we kicked them out by the world's enlighting method of 'Non-violence'. Most problems in India could be found to be created by British.

@LingaShaved I don't mean to justify the caste system the way it became, but i think the caste system started with good intentions. It's like, each part of the body is important; we must have a head to think of an idea, and we must have our hands to enact that idea. It's just that, it became twisted in a way to make some equal parts "more equal" than others, similar to how all good intentions can be twisted into things to manipulate others (ie. religion).

The Bull is not worshipped...it is symbolic of "leave your animal tendencies before you bow to the Lord". i.e elevate your conciousness. Soma is not mysterious at all. The ephedra shrub matches the description of soma given in the vedas and other texts, both by appearence and effect. Indus Valley is too old to associate with modern provinces like Punjab. Its solely associated with the Indus river.
Now just because you discover other people were alive at the time of IVC doesnt mean they were part of IVC. IVC is a distinct civilisation which has only been around the Indus river.

Pakistan and India was "one country" from 1850 to 1947. Before that Pak alone was 5 countries. And throughout the history Pakistan has been part of other empires for longer, like Afghan and Persian empires.
The partition was a huge mess. More than 600 princely states in India had to decide if they wanted to join India, and most was forced because they had no choice. Kashmir was a Muslim majority, they were promised they would be allowed to vote who they want to join. Hasnt happened to this day.

pakistan was india from the begining..and it was also ruled by mauryas & guptas etc..the name Bharat itself came from the Raja Bharat who ruled Bhaarat once, and these rajas ruled longer than afghans' & persians'(India's existece is dated when persians weres still living in cave).India's many diffrent state& region was ruled by diffrent race of ppl & tribe doesn't mean thy found a country, it was still called state & the country was still india.

Actually it was Bangladesh, North India and Pakistan. Pak and Bengla made a bigger part of it than modern India.
But you are wrong about the time periods. Pakistan was mostly ruled by 4 small kingdoms. One was Ancient Sindh, and the other was ruling all of Kashmir, Pakistani Punjab and the Frontier area. Baluchistan was a separate kingdom. They are collectively known as the "Indo-greek" kingdoms.
