the central premise of the show was not to spoof dubya, but to deconstruct sitcom conventions, like having a lovable dork as the main character, the slutty blond, the neighbor, the laugh track, all the tried n true plots like "trying to be in two places at the same time", "getting stuck in a closed space with the character you got the most issues to work out with" etc and taking it to the the absurd extreme by coupling those with political issues

my fav episode of 'thats my bush' was the one where rove and bush are discussing what to do with pumpkin, the aging, nasty family cat and laura, who has not had conjugal relations with g.w. lately overhears and thinks they are discussing her hygiene...

Yeah that episode is great. My brother bought the whole series on DVD a year and a half ago at Wal-mart..My favorite episode is "Mom E DEA Arrest"..George on X was great.

You have shit taste if you think Lil Bush will be funny. I Love Bush was pretty hilarious, though. 9/11 wasn't actually the cause of its cancellation, though. The show was too damn expensive, like $700,000 an episode expensive.
