This video can hold a special meaning to everyone depending on where they are in their life. What I see is life focusing on the rewards of death before it even comes. The Elk looses its partner, and the wolves see weakness and all want its death for themselves, same with the tribal people, and when death finally occurs, there are still creatures fighting over the rewards of its death. My family is currently fighting over my grandmothers will/money, shes dying, but not dead yet.

Cried. How gorgeous is all of that? Can't help but feel like the song has a bit of a schizo personality - after the line "sunlight over me no matter what I do" it feels like it should go to another intense place, but it goes to a happy place. You know what I mean? Maybe that's the point. Leading you in one direction, then turning in another. His voice on that line though...so powerful.

But I'm pretty sure it has a good reason being in there. In my eyes this song is about someone who has gotten into a huge argument with a loved one, and while they "don't beg for mercy" or "wish upon coins" they go to a fountain to try and wish themselves back to how things used to be. But since we cannot turn back time, the person in question instead finds the pain to be unbearable and drowns themselves which is represented by 6:40 onward.
