@badSTI E85 isn't much cheaper anymore... And it's also it's not very efficient burning it either.. Has a higher consumption rate, and you have to double any normal fuel system for E85 to give it's maximum gains... Only good thing about E85 is avoiding pre-detonation... Not talking shit, just saying E85 kinda gargles balls.
@JinglyKeys lol go drive a prius if you are worried about being efficient. E85 burns way cleaner then 91 octane fuel, infact, I just about passed emissions without any cats on my car. @steelstrings1312 I believe you're wrong. The WRX has a turbo but not the same as the STi. The STi also has beefy-er difs and axles i believe. Probably other tougher parts as well. This kid threw the wing on the back to look pro.
@sgtclam Sti engines also have forged pistons bigger injectors etc... the prodrive Sti's are pure badass. If its been tuned by them you know you got the best stuff under ya hood
I think the word "burnout" implies something BURNING lol, this was more of a wetout or whatever. The Sti wing isn't too bad. There's a completely stock Lancer down here in AZ with a fart can and EVO wing. Think he got some Ebay coilovers too or cut the springs because it rides as bad as it looks... boing boing boing lol. I think the word "burnout" implies something BURNING lol, this was more of a wetout or whatever. The Sti wing isn't too bad. There's a completely stock Lancer down here in AZ with a fart can and EVO wing. Think he got some Ebay coilovers too or cut the springs because it rides as bad as it looks... boing boing boing lol. Yours looks ok though and AWD's are fun on roads, dirt, mud, snow, sand.... blah blah blah you get the idea ;)

@KuostA deffinitly not. may be the newer wrxs with the 2.5 engines but an 02 05 wrx with a 2.0 engine on stage 2 doesnt beat an sti stock with a 2.5 liter engine

@mike56447 ...not true. when the sti was introduced over here in 04 it came with the 2.5...japan/europe, however, continued to use the 2.0 due to World Rally regulations.

@impreza914 I KNOW!! I myself am the complete opposite. If I had an sti, Id do everything in the book to make it look like a boring ol Impreza rs!! No Wing, No Scoop, a dark mesh cover to block view of my huge FMIC, trade my gold BBS rims for some nice lightweight, plain looking bbs's with no emblems...equal length headers to hide the sweet sound of the turbo boxer engine, and tint the windows a bit so no one could see the STI pink emblems on the seats. . That's how I would roll. :-)

@bentleyshane ewww. no can do. i cant be an accessory to making an STi clone. ;) haha Mine looks like a WRX clone. for some unknown reason whoever had it before me put a WRX spoiler on it. I get asked and accused all the time that its not a real STi. I just want no spoiler but cant find a carbon fiber trunk lid i like. I want one i can paint and doesnt dip down in the center

@codynieman oh its not a clone! Its a wagon! lol, I just have a 16 g turbo, and now a seized motor. Im not rolling with any sti parts really. Im actually trading my hood and bumper for an rs hood and bumper, but keeping my non aggressive quarter panels. I love the sti stuff, but if I cant do it right, I wont do it. But I would, Not everyone can afford an sti, so I do condone cloning. . because well, it is okay to make yourself feel better, even if you look like a tool. :-)

@codynieman you know, I beleive i have seen it somewhere. . not sure where though. Used to think they were horrid, but my mom ended up getting one, I think an 05. That thing was awesome, and convenient as shit. I borrowed it when I moved! You could fit quite alot in that things bed, and from the inside, it felt just as normal as any suby! I still dont really like the looks or anything, but wow, talk about a sleeper if you had the sti swap! lol drift machine with no weight in the back..

A big part of my family lives here in this valley (teton valley idaho, and teton valley wyoming (jackson hole) And lets see, I just sold my 02 legacy, but have an 02 wrx wagon. One of my sisters has a 05 Impreza rs, and my twin sisters just won a repo auction for an 03 impreza rs for 3300 bucks. Ive also had two 97 imprezas and a 97 leggy gt!

@bentleyshane I love subarus. This valley is over run with them. It snows here for 7 months of the year, and really about 60 percent of the cars on the road are subarus. Mainly outbacks. Its crazy. there are about four auto mechanics here. Two only work on subarus.
