i have the same receiver. the icom ic-r 20 is great. :)

with the small rubber antenna i heard a voice transmission on 255.55

S1, R2, but only in the night,

strange, because i thought i need a special antenna.

i also tried a small GSM antenna where i got S3, R3-4..

but i'm happy that i receive these things, it's very interesting
