@TMacBoy3 Actually I own an Evo Ix and the maintaince of these are not expensive at all. The lag from a bigger turbo is only because he starts in a high gear at low mph.. lol put that in the right gear and see what happens.. Who starts in 5th or 6th gear going 20mph. My evo has over 380whp and i get 20-25 with mild spirited driving and 25-28 with cruising. It does great on gas for what it has.

@Brsox10288 Not all Evos are the same. This is a tuned "hardcore racing" Evo, even driving sparingly THIS evo will be luck to get 10mpg. Going 20mph in 5th/6th gear is a test of torque. It is not Jeremy Clarkson being a dick, it is a very common test by car makers and car testers that test power in lower rpms.

Buddy, Formula 1 engines gets 4MPG at full throttle somewhere about 200mph+, THIS EVO can get over 20MPG AVERAGE which is claimed by many owners. City-hard traffic about 16MPG, highway 24MPG, HARD DRIVING probably 12MPG.

10mpg is possible at 186mph yes. I'm not fun boy buddy, I'm ex-owner of Supra, but i respect EVO and STI as every great car. For a 50,000 $ it's faster around track than anything made in USA, except ZR1 and ACR and fast as some Euro-exotics.

Personaly FQ400 is the best model but to bad they only have specific models only in The UK it came with about 405 hp it hits 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds, 0-100 mph in 9.1 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12.1 seconds at 118 mph (190 km/h), and a top speed of 175 mph. The Cons to this car is that it has a huge Turbo Lag....If you dont shift into the right gear at the right time, it will have no power at all...the 2nd part to this clip..Jeremy has shown under normal driving condition, 1st gear always stall, need a width of 3 lanes to make a complete U-turn, the ride is just killing your spine, and if drop the boost or didnt shift it correctly then it will even lose to a Geo (3 cylinder engine w/70HP).

Bottom line this Evo is bad to the bone, being it actually hung and beat a supercar, with a 4 banger, fuck all those Bugatti cars, all those super rare cars that nobody you will ever meet has. I think the new FQ-400 evo X will not perform as good as the FQ-400 VIII

due to weight diffrences. the VIII goes from 0-60 in 3.5 the X I heard goes to 60 in 3.8. cars are getting heavier.

i dont think you would notice a 0.3 second difference in acceleration. These 0-60 figures are also achieved by dumping the clutch which is not good for the clutch. Realistic times for these cars are about 4 seconds.

Cars are made for 95 octane generally. At least here in Turkey. What is usually buy is 97 octane for my civic and you can get 100 octane if you want but that is only recommended for super cars.
