Look at 3:51, she throws a whole new twist on the song and it sounds beautiful. Such a beautiful heart-felt performance from Stevie. However, I'm not to impressed by Lindsey's behaviour. Why doesn't he hug her at 4:41?
Yes, makes one cry. This song was played at a life celebration of a great woman who lived so amazingly here in our ocean town in Calif. Totally a GOD send. Thank you for posting. I wanted to be like Goddess Stevie even as an older woman --- wonderful role model for women and any singer/songwriter for that matter.
@kskdarkharT Of course it is fool...Stevie for one was a big girl back then and Lindsey took on the look of the 90's lol, who else would it be??? Stevie Nicks has a pretty distinctive voice dude.
On this tour it was reported that stevie and christine were both leaving the band. Lindsey had already been out for 3 years and seeing it was the last night of the tour lindsey showed up do do a few songs. I can't imagine the feeling in the arena that night..stevie and christine both ''leaving'' and lindsey showing up to sing with them for the first time in 8 years..emotional night i'm sure.
This was a fantastic concert. I loved watching Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham singing and getting along so well together! They have come a long way and seemed to earned each others respect.....Thanks so much matthewsnicksfan for posting! I really enjoyed this:)
Out of all the Fleetwood Mac stuff I've watch on You Tube...and after being to their 2004 Say You Will concert in Australia...and hopefully going to see them in Melbourne 2009....this is the most touching scene I've ever seen of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks...someone once said about these two, "Cheques made out to 'soul mates', but never cashed" - how true that is...

Speaking of big traps, Stevie's vagina is nicknamed The Penis Fly Trap. There are more cock maggots in her cum crapper than a dumpster behind Waffle House on a summer day in Pheonix. Speaking of Shaquille O'Neil, in his new book he writes about Stevie's cavernous tuna dungeon. He said sticking his giant meat hammer in her was like putting a toothpick in the Holland Tunnel.
I'm not sure what you thought I meant. But I didn't buy tickets this time because his act is getting old for me. Yes, so, too, is Lindsey getting old.

Stevie's dressing room smelled like an abandoned fishing boat drifting in the hot sun in the Bermuda Triangle. Those long dresses she wore trapped the heat and aggravated her yeast infection and hemmoroids. The dressing room attendant she hired to go on tour with her committed suicide and left a note: "You can tell by the smell she isn't feeling well but it must smell better in hell."
I will always love this song, brings tears to my eyes, and i always feel that tug at my heart, I really can feel the comfort in knowing I am not the only one that feels what is said in this song, god bless all
I see where you're coming from, but religion doesn't kill people, people who misuse religion kill people. We didn't get rid of politics after what Stalin, Pol Pot and Hitler did. Political wars have easily killed more people than religious wars. Besides, there are a lot of religious groups making a difference in this world, e.g., Salvation Army. I can only talk about the Western World, but many of the liberties/freedoms we enjoy and the values that we have came from Christianity/religion. e.g.,
Provocative "God Bless You" comment? I don't suggest that you go away as everyone has the right to freedom of speech. However I find it interesting that such a simple comment could so deeply "provoke" you. In all honesty, which Christians have hurt you or other people in your life? In most cases of such vehement anger towards Christians, I've found it stems from a personal grievance rather than an intellectual objection. Whatever someone has done, I'm honestly really sorry if they've hurt you.
I was educated at the University of Auckland in which I hold 2 bachelors degrees. Why do you ask? I think you have a very short sighted prejudiced view of Christians. That you can call them all muderers and hypocrits shows that you don't actually personally know many. Christianity invented genocide? Are you saying that the only people who committed Genocide have done so due to Christian ideology? Do you know what the Qing Dynasty did to the Dzungar Mongols?
@publicanimal9. Auckland University is ranked 65th in the world. Christians are "undisputed" murderers and hypocrits? Come on, you have to see the flaw in that statement. I never questionned your education (read my comment, please). I wondered if the source of your anger was primarily due to personal reasons. people dying and killing in the name of religion is nothing new. i dunno if you've ever heard of the crusades, but i wouldn't necessarily base my ideas of spirituality on the past few years
I'm atheist but I will agree with you somewhat. The US is one of the few countries that have political wars most other countries it's due to religion. I do agree however it is misuse of religion. Then again if there was no religion how many people could not of been killed and then again how many people would of made it through the day knowing there was nothing out there... Touchy subject really.
Yea they would but the subject was religion. The problem with it is scaring people into it from child birth. I have a friend who was recently kicked out because they didn't fell like going to church one Sunday and then he killed somebody for money because he had absolutely nothing. You can google it if you don't believe me Travis Mead Indianapolis and he will pop up. That could of been avoided if not for religion...
Bullshit that could have been avoided if the guy wasn't a murder. What you said makes no sense. To blame religion instead of the guy who did the murdering is absolute bullshit.
I mean if that guy can kill just because he has no money then he is a killer. What does religion have to do with it. What happened if he went to church never got kicked and had no money ? You said he murdered because he had no money then he would still murder. People murder not religion or anything else, people. Then they use these things as an excuse. The blame goes squarely on the people who do the killing.
Yea but religion is the reason what caused the down spiral. I'm not gonna argue with you all day religion does cause a lot of problems like it or not it's the truth.
Yes, touchy subject indeed! It is misuse of religion. I totally agree that without religion, many many lives could have been saved. Religion can cause many problems as it's most times a man-made belief system - people reaching out to God. A relationship with God on the other hand is something totally different. It is God reaching out to you. From personal experience, it changes your life. I was suicidal and God literally saved me. I can't help but get to know the one who saved my life.

Little known fact: Lindsey Buckingham invented a driver's airbag filled with Stevie's used tampons. He surprised her with this tribute by slamming into the back of a garbage truck and detonating the bag. Witnesses say she was not amused. This was in the middle of the Klonopin phase of her life. Have you read about it? It's interesting and explains the weight gain. She's still beautiful.
This is a GREAT performance!! I LOVE the BOTH of them so much!! I have been a huge, long-time (30+years) fan of theirs!! I was lucky enough to attend this particular show in December of 1990, while living in Calif. at the time. (I was on the floor, but 30 rows back.) This song and especially Go Your Own Way (with Lindsey) were the two highlights of the night for me!! It was a MAJOR thrill for me when Lindsey (my idol) appeared on the stage!! He was AWESOME & in my opinion stole the show.
I don't think she was actually reaching for a hug. Her hand was on the mike stand and when she released she swirled her hands in a bowing gesture. After the song he put his arm around her.

This is from 12-07-90 ;-). I´d like to know what was happen on my birthday 04-27-89 :-). Probably Stevie prepared TOSOTM album. These days was best in FM history.
anyone know what she is saying when it should be "I built my life around you" it sounds very different but I cant make it out what it is. This is so beautiful. I live it. Many thanks.
Thanks for the response. I dont know. I want to say it says "I wake up out of my mind without you." OMG how cool would that be. This version is so beautiful. I wish I could tell what she says there.
I agree with LiamMcConville about 2:52, she looks absolutley hauntingly beautiful. I've never heard her do this kind of version of Landslide where she says, "if you climb a mountain and I hope you make it" but it's hypnoitizing and I love it.
Vancouver loves you Stevie, and we want you to come here!
This is amazing - thanks its great! What I don't understand is that Lindsey had long left the band by then in 1990. Why was he there and did he perform at the whole concert?
This is amazing, however does anyone else feel the awkwardness after the last 'snoooooooow..... covered' (about 4.42), its as though Stevie wanted to go over and hug Lindsey but Lindsey just wasn't interested! They even have chemistry when they cant stand each other! (even if its negative chemistry)
It's amazing how somebody born then can legally drink now in America.

anyone know what she is saying when it should be "I built my life around you" it sounds very different but I cant make it out what it is.

I think he was there just as a special guest. I think he just performed this song and Go Your Own Way.
