You can make it about 3X louder by welding a resonant can on the end of each pipe. Get 2 used freon cylinders. Use a 3 inch hole saw for 3 inch pipe and cut a hole in the bottom of the cylinder. Take a torch or plasma cutter and cut the handles and valve assembly out of top leaving a 6 inch hole. Weld it to the end of the pipes and the can will amplify the sound to deafening levels.

mine is straight pipes from the manifolds back. no cats no muffler. its all straights. of course mines a chevy and ive had it like that 4 about 2 months now and havent even been in trouble yet

Hey man, i live in a hick town 2, but i am one, and proud of it. But the best thing u can do is get the biggest diameter straight pipes u can. But if you live in a town like me, the cops really dont give a shit unless ur cuttin up at nite or somethin. But if u do wanna make it legal, just get some gutted mufflers.

get som true duals for sure if u want to compete, i live in a hick town also, and i am one at that. i got pulled over for rappin on my pips right next to a cop that i didnt know was there and he said it was the loudest truck he has ever heard lol

@reallifeguitarhero they dont make a 5.8 ram son. Ive got a 5.9 ram if thats what you mean. heres what you do. get yourself some pacesetter long tube headers, and run true duals ALL the way back. No cats, no mufflers, none of that shit. You will have the loudest truck in your town trust me, I hold that honor right now here in GA. those 5.9s are REAL loud, louder than chevys and dodges. Now big blocks though are loud, thats a different story.

must be something about exhaust videos, cuz they never really show how loud a truck is. I took a video of a jeep six cylinder we straight piped and it sounds louder than this but I know these trucks are loud because my friend has the exact same exhaust. Sad thing to say but compared to this video, my truck sounds louder and I have Hooker long tubes with true duals and high flow cats with 8" glasspacks out to 4" tips.
