From the reflection off the new car I can see you are without shoes in your white socks on the street (55 sec.). You've made a good choice. The insight is a great car. Honda's IMA hybrid system is wonderful.

I love this car man...I just love it, its technology and its looks. I have to decide whether to get this one or the new Susuki Grand Vitara...two completely different cars I know, and though I like both, the Insight is my favorite. But the latter is like 4k less expensive where I live. I hope I can get this one though...it's been on my head since I saw it at the shop!

well the gas mileage is great, nice steering, dashboard is well designed to make everything very accessable, nice storage space. some cons are that the lights dont turn off automatically when you turn off the car. other than that i love it. simple and energy efficient!

test drove one for giggles. better than my aunt's prius but still BORING to drive. it's much better than the prius but there's no feeling when driving it.
granted it's the best cheap hybrid, but again, driving one is like running track with a numb body. there's no oomph when driving it and you can't hear the engine (but that's just me. i love loud engines, none of the fart can custom exhaust crap you see at school).
if i wanted to go eco-friendly, E85 or diesel would be the way.
Alternative fuels are a waste of time. Ethanol for example takes more energy to produce than it ends up providing. Hydrogen cars like Honda's Clarity along with electric cars are clean, non-polluting, and efficient over all.
Thank you for helping me decide on the Insight over the Prius. I traded my 2008 Element for my Insight that I got on July 2nd. Because of you and others on here that have done personal reviews it made my decision easier. I don't think I would have had such an easy time deciding if I had just listened the supposed car experts. Thanks again.

Yeah that would be cool! An engine shot, the back seats folded down, maybe some things in the back so we can judge how much space there is with the seats up and down, and definitely you driving around in it with shots of the gauges and some exterior shots of the car in motion would be sweet too.

Ethanol is more efficient as well as diesel.
Trying to make Hydrogen is very taxing. Mining the nickel needed for batteries is quite environmentally unfriendly.
