Now through all of that, how many times have you seen women holding down good, successful jobs? My two mothers have great computer assistant jobs making $10 and $12 dollars an hour. My father works part-time at a dollar store making minimum wage, so the women in my family are "superior". You get-em, girls.

@grungerobotnow I meant NO disrespect and as a GUY in the metal scene for a long time, I know that bands like Girlschool have been making fucking awesome metal since 1978. I said nothing about "all men are pigs" because I FUCKING HAPPEN TO BE ONE. My wife and I love metal whether its an all girls band or an all guys band. As a fan of metal for many many years, I can say that it is true that awesome bands like Kittie and Girlschool and even Otep get disrespected.

@grungerobotnow Well bout 57% of all people in US college are women, which is less than the ratio of three females to one male. There's no "disadvntage", cause regardless, women still get paid less regardless of a degree in the US... (its called the male/female income disparity).

My original comment was that people don't take women seriously in the metal scene because there is so few of them actively making metal, and the ones who do, stand out in the crowd and some people don't like that.
