@2blackmoor that is not an ID, its a paroon. It is aggressive and could have eaten every one of those fish in there. They aren't high maintenance, just needs large tanks/ponds because they grow huge.

These sharks eat other sharks their own size , look at the gourami's and the cichlids you keep and how they stay hidden behind that boulder trying to escape out the glass due to fear of being eaten .You'd be better off with a albino shark or a red tailed black shark in that set up

You know that paroon sharks grow up to a length of 3 meters right? For all you who are thinking of getting these catfish, dont do it, they are not aquarium fish.

It's a school fish which means that you need to have alot of them before they feel comfortable, and if all of them are 3 meters as grown ups, you would need about 20000 litres.

So if you like the animals, dont buy them.

do you have a update on the shark in the 720L? I have one and it is 4.5 inches and in a 65 gallon for now and I feed it 3 times a week and it is with all the other kind of freshwater sharks rainbow,albino rainbow,redtail blk,blk shark,albino blk,bala,blkfin,albino iridescent,iridescent shark and it is a nice sight and the paroon is so great. Oh very nice tank.

I got it from a friend, he wanted to sell it to the zoo store in town, but I met him and said I wanted it. I have now a 720 liter tank hehe.... but where it come from I dont know. Buut lol, get it from Nprway . Thats all I know about that shark, mostly ciklids here hehe, had piranha, but gave it too my friends for 200 dollar 5 piranha.
