2. No one looks like they've been crying.

3. He has a gash on his head, and they're talking about swelling putting pressure on the spine. The spine is not in an enclosed area, like the skull. If the pressure was on the brain because of swelling, that would make 100% sense, but idiot writers had to meet a deadline and rushed it.
