C4C: Smart Politics. If Congress taxes you $500 to create auto jobs, the victims are invisible and are only revealed by asking what you would have done with the $500 if left in your hands. Your own spending would have created jobs too but you can't point to who the beneficiaries would have been. They're invisible. Politicians love making victims of their policies invisible & beneficiaries visible because the beneficiaries will know who to vote for and victims won't know who to blame.
C4C Dumb Economics: Any so-called stimulus program is a ruse. Government increases its spending only by reducing private spending equivalently. Whether government finances its added spending by hiking taxes, borrowing, or by inflating the currency, the added spending will be offset by reduced private spending. Plus, private spending's much more efficient than government spending replacing it because people act more carefully spending their own money than spending other people's money.

I wanna cry when I see such great trucks and cars destroyed on purpose by this STUPID Obama cash for clunker's program. Why not donate these cars and trucks to needy family's or someone who cannot afford a new car? Everyone wins that way. I'm so glad this program is over. What a waste of some beautiful cars and trucks.
Yeah same here, man. There are plenty of good vehicles going to waste. And think, this is only a fraction of a fraction of all of the vehicles sent to the C4C program, just think how many were not documented on film! Sickening.

im glad that the obama motors project is over. i cant believe that. if obama had some brains on cars he would propose some kinda cng or E85 program for cars where they modify the fuel system to run on different, cheaper, less pollutant fuels. another thing, if trees breath in pollution and breath out PURE O2 why worry?????
I'm glad it's over too, but I recorded this vid today. Some of these cars will still be killed. I talked to some fat bloke working there and he said they didn't get reimbursed for 19 vehicles yet. He seemed like he was in favor of the program, though. He couldn't bullshit me, though.
