Great info, but you need to slow down. Its one thing to pause etc but when you have to play things back more than a few times it gets frustrating. Your cursor movements are too fast. This is exactly what professors do sometimes when they explain something. Just because they know it back to front does not mean we do. Anyway, I'm just blabbering now...

than u can use ProApp and Tiger, Leopard or Glossy Theme for your Windows or Linux Gimp2

but u have copy it to the right directory, there are 2 directorys called theme so copy it into the wich is named on this side..

I would think the point of watching the tut would be to gain knowledge and try some new things... not degrade or promote the specs of his graphic equipment... And also, those wanting him to speak more slowly should simply learn the art of pause and rewind. When watching tutorials it also helps to watch it once first then try and go through and do the steps. The pause button is your friend, and so is the slider when words get choppy.

I tried to do your battery icon. Actually everything worked quiet well, but at the end, when I tried to put the second color (in the battery 9.30min - 10.00min) the struggle started. I just could not put that layer behind the other. What can I do? I tried to use the arrows to move layers, but it just did not get behind the other layers.

Difficult to explain. I would also send you the file if needed.

I recently switched to mac and use gimp but from what I have found out if I select an area from one picture and paste it as a new layer on another it copies the last picture on my clipboard not the selected area. Does this happen with you?
