  • Hey bro I'm 5'5 175 lbs and I'm trying to shred fat so I can get a six pack at the end of this. I finished week one and my stomach looks the same and sometimes worse.1st meal is egg whites and 3 oz of ham. 2nd meal is a protient bar. 3rd is a tuna fish sandwich w/ a lot of lettuce on wheat bread. Then I work out.after that I drink a recovery drink. Then eat a chicken breast w/ brocoli maybe 2 hours later... Am I doing somthing wrong here? Pease help!!!

  • hey I have a question, is resting a whole body thing or muscles. I am wondering if you work out in a gym all week on the weekend should you do sit ups or something if you havent worked that particular muscle recently or if it feels ok and not sore at all?

  • i started p90x and im 23 days into it i have seen results but not alot b/c i did not do diet due to lack on info on nutrition plan and money im only 13 so i dont control what is put in the fridge but now im able to sorta follow the diet plan. im 205 Lbs and im not sure if i should do lvl1, lvl2 or lvl3 in the diet

  • good tips, bro I eat 5 meals a day of 400 - 460 calories a day is this good or bad? im 5 ' 9 159 LBS

    I do 60 - 80 minutes of cardio 5 x a week

    and weight training; a different muscle group a day.

  • I think you should eat more. With as much activity as you say you do you are probably burning in excess of 1200+ calories a day just from the fitness. If your anything like me you could get away with eating 3500-4000 a day easy.

  • Damn, I might gain weight tho cause ive been eating around that for a while (2000 - 2300)...I guess ill increase slowly 200 cals extra starting tomorrow and the rest of the week and Ill increase another 200cals the week after this one...Thanks!

  • dude, stop schilling for p90x, unless they pay you to do this, in which case divulge that info

    you do not need to spend any money on anything p90x related (except their pull up bar) to successfully get fit and look beach ready

    just do your research

  • i eat half a cup of cottage cheese 1:30 before bed since cottage cheese is easily digestible and has around 15g of protein

  • Well that would vary - I'm actually in the process of figuring out how many calories you burn during a Plyo work out - This of course caries based on the level of intensity. Resting level you probably burn somewhere around 1500 calories in your normal body functions throughout the day.

  • Ok. well i've completed my third week and i haven't lost any weight. my starting weight was 170, and i'm still 170. should i be concerned? and should i repeat phase one before continuing on to phase 2?

  • You need to consume lots and lots of calories - Your body has an incredibly high metabolism and requires constant nutrition and attention to build and retain muscle. Honestly the only way I can build a huge amount of muscle is if I consume 3k+ in calories every day. Don't eat whatever, eat clean but eat often and lots. I don't mean stuff yourself but consume high calorie foods (carbs) 5-6 times a day - Protein shakes can be a great way to add some extra calories.

  • 16" pizza, all by yourself at 3am and then go to bed, haha... omg, sounds like what I used to do ... Oh, what bad habits we can have :P

  • Yeah that was nothing and almost a nightly process! So so so bad. To be honest I should have weighed 200+ pounds but I was fortunate to have a good metabolism
