If you watch the Rise and Fall of WCW, you can see that Goldberg did not plan on going far and it was Nash who decided to end his streak (I love Nash, still). Even though I love the "Attitude Era" of WWE, I respect Goldberg's love for the "kid content" stuff (even though I don't like it). I still miss him.

I've bought every addition to the WWE Smackdown series. Originally, I'd play the games from release until the next edition came out. Now, I buy them mainly for old-time's sake. I played SvR 2011 maybe 2 or 3 times during the first week. Now it's sitting in the store bag collecting dust.

I never really liked Goldberg. He comes in, fights a bunch of no bodies, and EVERYONE makes a big deal about it! You could tell right away they were setting him up to be a star. It just felt forced to me!

Most of the superstars that came to WWE, stayed in WWE until the comissioner said their career was over, But some superstars like Goldberg, say that wrestling is only fun the first time round. Goldberg quit because he had to stop his aggression, because that's not what his father wanted him to be, an aggressive, intimidating animal, like he was in WWE.

I feel sorry for Goldberg, I wouldn't want to work in an unfriendly environment either....
But first and foremost, I don't think Goldberg should have looked too much at little children and more at his adult fans and teenagers, which made up the intended fan base of pro-wrestling from the beginning anyway.

they wouldn't make Goldberg face Undertaker at Wrestlemania because
1) noone want's to see Undertaker's streak gone
2) it wouldn't be sensible to make Goldberg lose either, since he hasn't been defeated in a fair match before.
They'd make them square off in a PPV face-off where someone interrupts to ruin the match, thus making it impossible to see who is more dominant.

I've bought every addition to the WWE Smackdown series. Originally, I'd play the games from release until the next edition came out. Now, I buy them mainly for old-time's sake. I played SvR 2011 maybe 2 or 3 times during the first week. Now it's sitting in the store bag collecting dust.

Goldberg was definitely an entertaining wrestler, but he's an even greater person.
I'm glad to see that he's still a nice guy, considering that he has many reasons to be bitter with his NFL career going down, WCW's myriad screwups, and WWE's questionable programming and misuse of him. Bill Goldberg is definitely a class act.

Truth. If you listen closely, he actually prefers the PG era. He wanted to have a superhero gimmick like 1980s Hogan, not a badass gimmick like 1990s Steve Austin. When he was in WWE he was forced to have the badass gimmick not the superhero gimmick.
