  • so handsome :D !!!

  • best live video i've seen of these guys..

  • Roman looks frequently pop up in the modern UK population - a relic of the intermingling of the conquering Romans with the native populations. Notice - Eric Burdon sure looks Roman - with or without the puddin' basin haircut. This by the way is before Eric blue his mind on acid!

  • I had goosebumps from 0:00 - 2:55 :)

  • LIKE A BAWWSSS

  • I think the keyboardist had a stroke

  • Amazing!!!

  • he's doing that " i know im the shit " modeling look

  • Saw them perform this live in Tampa in '64, to an audience of about 30 people. They were awesome!

  • now a days bands sound so bad live because they have so much technology to make it sound good... they sound the same live just as good..wish i lived back then

  • @uplifter182 I absolutely love this band. I too wish I lived back in this era.

  • god he looks about 16 there the singer

  • dammit theres nothing like this shit today so original

  • This recording turned a load of us old white UK baby boomers on to black blues music, I have to thank them for that, and hell it was a great record that still stands up

  • Now that's what i call real black music. Just beautiful even the Piano player has the antics of Ray Charles. Great song, love it.

  • That's the famous Chas Chandler on Bass. The producer who discovered Jimi Hendrix.

  • @freddiebear01 HOLYSHIT

  • did they record this the same day they made the clip?^^

  • I think he looks like mr. Spock but ehhh...

  • That is Alan Price at the keyboard

  • @LoulouWawa but their old now so it dosent matter

  • Funny how girls loved good music in the past, and now... I won't even start...

  • @IdiotNoJutsu girls dont go by music they go by looks and the crowd. back then this was the shit. now its just bullshit. pop music and rap, rmb

  • @camgoat96 Aw, you just made me sad...

  • @IdiotNoJutsu I agree, its the music that's the changing factor. girls were always chicken brained

  • @IdiotNoJutsu : "Most" of the girls never love good music. they love cute faces ;D lol just jokin'

  • @IdiotNoJutsu I'm a girl and there are a lot of us that still love the classics.. don't count us all out :)

  • @IdiotNoJutsu I don't think the girls of both today or of the past chose. They just listened to whatever was mainstream. You wouldn't find booty popping songs in the 60s.

  • lol at the keyboard solo

  • Dude sings like a fucking BOSS!

  • Eric Burdon is coming to Vegas Kewadin in Sault Ste. Marie Michigan March 24!

  • Love it. Amazing. My favorite song ever.

  • Sounds Better Than When I Play It On Piano ._.

  • One of the top 3 songs ever recorded. Masterpiece.

  • I just love this kind of music. It never gets old!

  • lassan már 50-éve

    istenem mekkora zsenik voltak

  • much better than modern music

  • @ElmoGrandTheft123 Look up Wolfmother playing Baba O'Riley in Mexico 2010 on youtube. Now modern music took a classic switch

  • Just can't stop watching

  • The bass player went on to play "Sloth" in the "The Goonies."

  • @Rasha5377 The bass player went on to manage Jimi Hendrix

  • @1985MANAmericana you're an idiot

  • i love how deep his voice gets

  • Brilliant showman as well as a good strong voice. Too bad their organist was a dweeb spazzola!

  • 8 dislikes, my asshole, i dont want to live on this planet anymore with the deaf.

  • I remember reading in an interview that the Animals had given...saying that "House of the Rising Sun' was wrote by an Englishman in England. There was no proof of that and it had been an old Appellation folk song sung in America for many, many years. It could be true but without any kind of proof and the whole song being about New Orleans it seems pretty unlikely. I just think it's funny how nationalistic people can be.....even artists who seem like they should be less likely to be that way.

  • Where was this shot Ed Sullivan Show? peace!

  • he keeps his mouth away from the mic to not break it, expensive stuff that.

  • Comparing Justin Beaver to these guys doesnt make sence because the Beave is a Puss!!!

  • DAMMIT, STOP YELLING GIRLS!!!!!!

  • @TheFuckabilly They can't help themselves

  • @TheFuckabilly i concur

  • @TheFuckabilly if those girls wouldnt freak out like that...guaranteed they wouldnt have been a band...leader of the monkees pointed that out. he said he seen how the girls reacted to the beatles and he said "i wanted some of that" lol

  • @TheFuckabilly I try to imagine the screams are just all the dying souls this song is truly about. The dope fiends, the gambling demons, the sex-crazed mad men, and all the motherless children who fall victim to their obsessions... It becomes quite surreal when you close your eyes and listen.

  • @RequiemForaBromance You sir, are crazy. But in a nice way.

  • Justin Biebers balls = .. / The Animals balls = OO

  • @sporky69 testicular cancer???

  • @801Muse they have big balls compared! haha

  • @kingkilburn hilarious

  • I know someone that looks just like Burdon, and I can't stand the punk. So I have to turn my head away to enjoy the song.

  • @profolactic

Eric Burdon is a fat asshole now, but he did have a great voice back in the day.

  • Not sure if that's Dave Eric Rowberry on the Vox organ but that is Chas Chandler on bass. . the man who "discovered" Jimi Hendrix.

  • 1 OF D BEST SONGS 2 PLAY ON YOUR ACOUSTIC GUITAR ON WEEKENDS. \m/

  • FUCK. YES.

  • The keyboard player looks like he's discovered he's got fleas whilst having a stroke when he plays that solo.

  • @CBSIProductions LMAO!!! Fucking funniest thing I have ever read.

  • The scent of horny teenage girl is palpable in this video.

  • this man went to the crossroads. id bank on it

  • @sicmic123 the rest of them fools look possessed

  • Great, great singer.

    Belts like a champ

  • on the top ten list for me....love this song!!!

  • Halftime-shuffle ftw

  • An anthem ..........

  • This kid can fucking belt. Sounds kinda like Jim Morrison, both great talents. <3

  • and the only times hes half satisfied is when hes smoking skunk

  • to be honest i was only going off what somebody else said on another animals video and im to lazy to look it up to see if it was true .... so i didn't really know one way or another

  • great sounding song! superb talent!

  • I love this songg by these guys i have always been into 50's and 60's music

  • Such an amazing song!

  • i would kill to sing like that.

  • @Blink41ColdRomance Hell YEAH !!!

  • @Blink41ColdRomance after this go in prison :D, maybe you can sing one song :D, this song!

  • Everyones gay for the organ player ;)

  • look it's Spock :D

    love the song

  • viajando PSICODELICAMENTE .....

  • I love this song! I play this song again and again,it reminds me when I was young.I miss those days.

  • My 9 year old loves this song.

  • Take that justin bieber

  • @Clapboardstudio

Really why does Justin Bieber even cross your mind when you listen to music like this, who cares about what he does he's of no comparison AT ALL, just listen to the music you like and enjoy life...stop worrying about Bieber he isnt a threat to anything or anyone if you don't let him be *smh*

  • @liljelly2992 Because of the screaming chicks back there.

  • @Clapboardstudio Eurgh. You and the 30 odd people who liked your status can piss off with your comparisons. This is what it is and that is what it is. They are incomparable. Think before you go comparing something which you clearly don't like to a classic like this, as in doing so you are making the thing you dislike seem comparable and in the same ballpark as this. They aren't even the same sport.

  • @toolworks qq, i'm not comparing anyone. Read before you comment.

  • @Clapboardstudio You are definately comparing. In saying "take that justin bieber" you are insinuating that The Animals have beaten justin bieber at his own game. The fact that you even thought of that artist when watching this video infuriates me, and the fact that people gave your comment thumbs up does not help one bit!

  • @toolworks still careless, i,m not even explaining it to you since you will still go on thinking you're always right.

  • @Clapboardstudio Considering how you said nothing to defend yourself, I indeed will know that I am right. Just admit that you love Justin Bieber and we can forget about it all!

  • @toolworks Maybe consider that i'm not 24/7 on Youtube and have a life doesn't mean that i love Justin Bieber. The way you wrote your comment said more then me on that comment.

    You're an idiot.

  • @Clapboardstudio You are an exhausting top comment whore.

  • @toolworks You're just a whiny little bitch who can't handle the most tinniest things. Just look past it, you don't have to read it if you don't like it.

The worst part is that you also waste your life commenting on a "top comment whore."

    Have a nice day sir.

  • @Clapboardstudio It annoys me when there is a cult following of hating on a celebrity just because they are talentless. You could call it a pet hate of mine. Seeing your innane comment and the thumbs up it received made me angry and so I need no reason other than that to take some time out to call you a jackass.

  • @toolworks SHUUUTTT UPPPPPP!!!!!

  • @801Muse ass

  • @Clapboardstudio we walked into a store last night and thats who we seen *cardboard cutout* and i screamed and said thats scary

  • @thejkwards I know. Had the same...

  • @Clapboardstudio What a ridiculously unfair and stupid comparison...

  • @Randidan I feel bad for you that you actually wasted your time on commenting on a ridiculously unfair and stupid comparison

  • This is the awesome music I was raised with. That and Backstreet Boys... 90'S KIDS FTW!!!!

  • Amo este vídeo. Magnífico. Parabéns pela escolha.

  • i can barely hear singing, ONLY FU*KING SCREAMING

  • i want to marry him NOW!

  • pourquoi elles hurlent ?

  • Thats true music! Straight out of his heart. Fuck this modern commercial bullshit... Whish the people would do their own things again and not all for money!!!

  • @Brahma001 its the modern bs that comes from this and thak *uck

  • Another era but Eric's still great. Passing years make great wines become better.

  • No girl.. No shout ;)

  • I like Eric's version, but this song really makes no sense sung by a male. It's really about a girl who was whored-out in a brothel.

  • Sometimes he seems like he is going to burp.. :P

Great voice and expressions.. Great song.

  • he has lumps under his eyes from gettin tooo much putang

  • j'adore !!!!!!!!!!

  • how come i dont slay pus with a haircut like that? :(

  • The bass player of The Animals always had prescence.

  • @Jamesscearce

looks like a giant Fender.... that does take Prescence... what a beauty..

  • @Jamesscearce

looks like a big Lad too..

  • maldicion!!!!!!! D: eran demasiado buenos!!! :D

  • I like(d) Eric's style on stage. Funny thing is that the Animals were - on average - moving like Lego-toys when perforrming. Indicative of falseness? Stoned? Eric's still around, a relic of himself. Harsh, cruel words...

  • Nice post......thanks this video is great.....Eric was as cool as they come......

  • you can tell by the girls screaming, that place was humid with panty sweat

  • @ellisufc:UMMM...........YEAH!!!! sounds/smells good to me

  • @ellisufc rofl small man big voice

  • @ellisufc just panties? Ima be honest i think my Joe boxers would be gettin a little damp as well if I were there, and I'm not even gay.

  • @ellisufc lolz! and nowadays such wonderfuly musican just don't exist and people sell dirty panties off ebay for a 1000 quid :D just kiddin...still i envy my parents for living at that times!

  • Shut up ladies I'm trying to listen to the song.

  • small little body.... deep voice XD

  • I'm glad the 8 bars he clapped syncopated

  • Its also funny everyone saying "music now a days ..blah blah." Its the exact same thing parents of kids listening to this were saying back in the 60s. Dont get me wrong I love this and my dad showed it to me when i was young along with the dead, Yes, floyd, etc. But there is good music coming out today amongst all the beibers, you just have to listen and not assume everything will be crap. You have to love MUSIC all of it.

  • god damn listen to all those girls screamin. must have got so much pussy

  • @MulherFrugal i dont know what your saying.

  • @StfuSiriusly You are discusting

  • @cdfbryce getting pussy is disGusting? (yes disgusting is spelled with a G) Explain how my comment makes me disgusting? fucking D bag

  • 99 needs to get another beer, ok

  • I did know os Eric wasuntil a few months but now he is a big influence. 99 now things he jim , mic and eric, 99

  • they only looked like the Beatles, most bands had to in those days..

  • @travisty55 the animals actually pre- date the beatles by about twelve months

  • @TheTwollocks sure, but the video didn't

  • @travisty55 the beatles started making it big in 1965

  • @TheTwollocks love the Animals, used to cover HOTRS, but my memory says otherwise, and so does wikipedia... Please Please Me was "Released in March 1963, reached #1" PLUS "The Beatles left UK on 7 Feb 1964, "I Want to Hold Your Hand" had sold 2.6 million copies in the US over the previous two weeks. They gave their first live US television performance two days later on The Ed Sullivan Show, watched by approximately 74 million viewers—over 40 percent of the American population."

  • the Animal was great band and they had very much hits

  • do you hear scream^&

  • love this style of music, classic sixties they do nothing on stage and do you hear those girls screaming, classy suits and great vocals and music, ace

  • This is the real music, not the music of our days ( LMFAO and much more )...

This song'll be remain in the history.

  • @SpartaxMarx amen to that be old not new

  • Anybody else imagine the lead singer looking completely different before you saw a video or picture of him?

  • Great year to be born. I was.

  • @mattsmoski3737 lucky!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:12 on some shit

  • great song. stay white

  • When I first heard this song I never imagined the singer was such a young kid. It's like someone took a 40-year old's voice box and grafted it onto this guy.

  • I wish people could appreciate real music!

  • @bitchslapyoassfoo we get it music sucks now. Waa waa waa stop crying.
