If I may be so bold, I don't think that people should be arguing over whether science proves or disproves a certain God. Science was (and I suppose is) meant to understand how the universe works. Some of us think that a god (or God) created us as his special creation. And some of us think that we came by chance. I am personally a Christian and I believe that God created me. I don't take the Bible word for word, I take it passing for passing, or even book for book. Some things were just too immense for the old apostles and prophets to describe properly. @stygn The Bible is the written Word of God, the author is the Holy Spirit, if we read Genesis it says the Lord took 6 days to make the earth, man was made on the 6th day, on the seventh the Lord rested. The word for day in hebrew means literally 24 hours, Yom. The Holy Spirit made sure man wrote the correct thing, as man was influenced by Him. My friend is a scientist, she is Christian too. DNA does not have divine direction towards the creation of life, and helps to show how very small mutations over the course of time introduce new traits into populations, which may survive, but are mostly benign. I'd invite you to look at the Laryngeal Nerve and it's history as evidence of these types of traits, being carried through several species.

I saw a program on PBS video that was about the Black Hole. They actually saw sites as beautiful as these stars. When they were simulating the Black Hole, I immediately thought of the Bottomless Pit. The heavens are not proof of God's existence NOR of non-existence. Because the existence of God cannot be proved or disproved.

When man evolved from what he had been before, and became self-conscious of his surroundings. He tried to explain its existence. Every nation, that ever existed and and even those who populated the Earth today, want to believe in something that created them. Some cultures believe in one creator, others in multiple gods and nature gods. But if there is a creator, gods or none. Everyone should follow his own faith and others, whether they believe in something in something completely different...

Awe Inspiring!!! God merely spoke and ALL came into existence. Of the incredible vastness of the Universe (which I believe is endless to show His Eternal Nature), God KNEW of EVERY atom, proton, electron, quark (and probably eternally tiny particles) that He created. You take a very nice approach with this video.. I am a scientist (or.. soon at least..), but I'm still a Christian. I believe God made all this. I don't take the Bible word for word, I take it passing for passing, or even book for book. Some things were just too immense for the old apostles and prophets to describe properly. I do believe that the earth is about 4,5 billion years old, and that the universe is about 13 billion years old. The thing is, I believe God did it : )

@stygn The Bible is the written Word of God, the author is the Holy Spirit, if we read Genesis it says the Lord took 6 days to make the earth, man was made on the 6th day, on the seventh the Lord rested. The word for day in hebrew means literally 24 hours, Yom. The Holy Spirit made sure man wrote the correct thing, as man was influenced by Him. My friend is a scientist, she is Christian too. So according to the Word of God the earth is only thousands of years old, not billions.God bless you.

In that the bible doesn't even hold a candle of relevant explanation towards the nature of space. You're jokingly side-stepping a serious matter. For each piece of "evolutionary fraud" that you could speak of, there are mountains of well founded evolutionary evidence. @jrstudioboss DNA is evidence for evolutionary history of organisms. We can see that life changes very slightly over the long course of time. DNA does not have divine direction towards the creation of life, and helps to show how very small mutations over the course of time introduce new traits into populations, which may survive, but are mostly benign. I'd invite you to look at the Laryngeal Nerve and it's history as evidence of these types of traits, being carried through several species.

Punctuated Equilibrium isn't necessarily a "theory of evolution" as it is a observation, understood when you think of genetic mutations being benign or if anything, harmful unless a change is useful for that time or environment. Panspermia is simply an idea, do you know much about mycology? You would be amazed at the radiological and environmental conditions that a spore can survive in and for incredibly long periods of time.

There are THOUSANDS of dated fossils from spanning from homo sapiens within 50,000 years, up to 5+ million years of lineage. Every time a small piece of the puzzle regarding primate lineage is discovered, creationists simply point to the spot between the new discovery," And what about there?" This entire world that surrounds you, has been built via major advances and foundations of science. This computer you're using, the internet, cell-phone, the understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum. Meteorology and the understanding of weather as complex processes, and not just "god's will". Geology and understand of earthquakes and plates.
