Auf Englisch, "Jew's harp", possibly a corruption of "jaws harp" or even "juice harp", considering how it's played.

Lew Dite has some nice ones with true tuning (usually you have to attempt to pitch them with your mouth).

In German it`s called "Maultrommel" or "Mundorgel"

Thank you! My mother's family was German, and it has been many years since I spoke it regularly. I did incorrectly use -rahmen as the modifier, but it was the only one I could remember... In English we say "Jews Harp" or "Mouth Harp".
