Most likely there is no physical evidence of a theist god. Religion is based off of having faith in that there is something after this life and that there is a divine being that created the universe and us. Faith, which is believing in something without evidence but instead just because. Now in science faith is not a virtue but in religion it is essential. Most likely there is no physical evidence of a theist god. Religion is based off of having faith in that there is something after this life and that there is a divine being that created the universe and us. Faith, which is believing in something without evidence but instead just because. Now in science faith is not a virtue but in religion it is essential. God is not going to provide us with evidence of his existence because then we wouldn't need faith, religion without faith is not religion.

I understand your point, I really do. But is it possible that you are just diverting attention here? Also, I did give you very tangible experiment to consider. Maybe after meditation you will be even more confident in your atheism. The thing about studying science is that you are merely memorizing facts, and that is great. I love science, especially physics. But life is not a lab experiment, it is a complex process of self-awareness and growth. I think our true differences are in attitude.
